If you’re looking for authentic Mexican pastries paired with warm, welcoming customer service, look no further than Abuelita’s. This charming bakery is a gem.

From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the delightful aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home, offering helpful suggestions and ensuring you leave with exactly what you’re craving. Whether it’s your first time trying Mexican pan dulce or you’re a connoisseur of conchas, they’re happy to guide you through their offerings.

What truly sets Abuelita’s apart is the attention to detail in both their pastries and their service. They take pride in their craft, and it shows. The shop is always spotless, the displays are beautifully arranged, and the staff treat each customer...

Great addition to Buda!

Enjoyed their bacon and egg taco. Bacon was thick and egg was not scrambled hard so it made a difference. Tortillas are home made and good.

The oan dulce was pretty good too. Super impressed with their mini marranitos and concha sugar cookies

When we went, they had recently opened so some of the kinks were still being worked out and there was a wait tacos as there was quite a number of people and the line to order was never shorter than 5 deep. The staff was super nice and apologetic for the delays while the food was being made.

Look forward to returning to this second location for more...

I'm usually not that "Karen"- having a small buisness myself I understand how reviews are crucial. My fist visit and ordered a taco of chorizo and egg( barely and chorizo) and the barbacoa was nice portion. The pan dolce was delicious. But the prices were kinda high! Inflation isn't that high. And after we paid the young girl she asked if I wanted to keep the change.Really?? Am I suppost to tip for taking my overpriced ticket? In my opinion I think everything needs a price reduction.Atmosphere is nice but doesn't justify the prices! We Wish the best! We will try one more...

This is a cute, family-owned eatery that has a simple menu and plenty of bakery items. I don't know why anyone would leave a 1 star review. The food was fresh and made quickly, we got coffee and breakfast tacos within 5 minutes, and the apple empanada was so tasty. The bathrooms are clean, the boutique is fun to look at, and there are plenty of seats here. We aren't from Texas, so this place is a treat for us. We really liked the decor and the friendly staff member who took our order. She was friendly and happy to see everyone. I'm sure we'll be back before we leave the area to go home.

This place makes me feel like I'm at abuela's house for the weekend. It smells AMAZING inside, and looks just as good. It's classic panaderia vibes with a modern twist. Staff is lovely and kind. The tacos are the perfect start to the morning. The coffee and pan dulce combo is unbeatable. My personal favorite has always been pan de polvo, and these do not disappoint. The merch for sale is unique and I love the partnership with local artists. We visited on a weekday morning and everything was perfect.
