Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Buena Park

Well, of course the prices are higher at Carl's Jr than some other fast food places but the food is tastier and better quality, I believe. The person at the counter wasn't really customer friendly in a professional manner that is, the cheeseburger at $5 or such was quite dry inside but the classic cheeseburger was much better my family had said and it was 4:49 I myself I am used to the lower priced hamburgers like 2.50 to $3. They all taste the same to me in the long run unless they have special add ons such as avocado or bacon but I think Carl Jr tops them off in this case even though their prices are much higher. Because some of the other places put the small pieces of bacon scrimpy where Carl's is more Fuller in that way I just can't see paying $5 on up for a hamburger that could be only for extra...

I went for breakfast this morning. The lady behind the counter told me that they are now self serve, I have to place my own orders. I'm not real crazy about that, but oh well, I'll do it. They have a touch screen monitor with tiny little pictures and letters. I am 66 years old and I did not know that I would need my reading glasses to place an order !! I tried, but I just couldn't see the screen. I told the lady, "I'm sorry, but I can't see the screen. She completely ignored me. I said it two more times hoping she would offer to help me. After I said it for the third time, she shrugged her shoulders and turned her back to me. She said something to the effect of "we can't do that anymore." I said "if I can't order I guess I have to leave." Again, NOTHING !! No "oh, I can order for you ma'am" NOTHING....

Yikes. What a mess. This is the worst fast food places I've ever been.

Service is slow, even when it's not busy (It took them 15 minutes to make one sandwich) The beverage machine didn't work even though they knew about it and still charged me for a drink. The cashier can't speak English so you have to order by saying a menu number (seriously, if you have a front facing position, being able to communicate with clients is important) The food itself was dripping wet with grease which tells me they don't clean their kitchen at all. The portions are small. They charged me $11 for a sandwich and a drink that I could have gotten across the street at the gas station for $6.
