If I had left a review any other day I would've left 5 stars. Unfortunately Patricia the general manager changed that today. My family have been regulars at this culvers for about 3 years now, we have multiple dogs and are all custard lovers. So a semi weekly trip to get the whole family something to munch on and the dogs a small serving of custard. Today as we went to have our usual outing we were shocked when at the drive through we were very rudely told no to the pup cups. No, you have to pay for them or anything of the sort. Taken aback we continued with the order and tried once again at the end to ask for pup cups which were then added. When we got to the window to pay one of the workers started profusely apologizing explaining the general manager yelled at the drive through employee to not allow us to get pup cups since we were "trying to get free ice cream". All the while our lab and shepherd in the backseat were patiently waiting. She gave us the pup cups and again profusely apologized for the managers behavior, all the while we could hear the manager continuing to yell in the back. We asked to get in contact with the owner only to find out they rarely come in, hence the trip to Google. The staff at this location are truly something special. I've never had a single issue or negative reaction with any of them whether inside the establishment or passing through the drive through. It's unfortunate they have such a manager who ultimately is the face of the business be so cruel to customers and in turn staff.
Hopefully the owner sees this review and does something with the gm before she retaliates on her own staff who care more about customer...
Read moreAs a weekly regular to this Culver’s, I have to sadly say, I won’t be anymore at least to this location. Last night my son and my two dogs did our weekly treat run to pick up our favorite pint of custard and pup cups for the dogs. Sadly as we went through the drive through we were caught off guard we the person taking our order rudely said no to our request for the pup cups. Surprised I asked again at the end and was met with silence. Once I made it to the drive through window and familiar face worker informed me that her general manager had denied us the pup cups, but felt this was wrong of her to have done and decided to give it to us anyways. She explaining that the general manager was screaming at the drive-through workers that we were just there for free custard, even though we had gotten 4 pints of custard. I was shocked by this, and stated that I would happily pay for the pup cups if that was what was needed. The employee said I don’t know, I’m just going to give them to you. Absolutely appalling that a teenager knows more about customer service and how to treat people than the general manager of this facility. Also well in line trying to order my pints, the pint menu was incorrect, which ended up taking longer causing people behind us to start honking and flashing their lights and becoming aggressive. Clearly, the poor general management of this facility is shining through regardless of having impeccable character of teenage employees that work here. Unfortunately, I’ll be driving a little bit further to another Culver’s, where I know my family will be serviced better. I really hope the owner reads this and understands what is happening at...
Read moreOk normally would have given this Culver’s a 3 or 4. I normally spend about $20 a week at a min at this place because my kids love the ice cream here. And I am addicted to the cheese curds and onion rings. But a recent experience really left me bitter. We went in to order our dinner along with a side of cheese curds. The cheese curds was not taken into the order and instead we got French fries (which we had not ordered) and we had ordered the cheese curds as an upgrade instead. We did not check receipt for order as we had gone inside to order instead of ordering through their drive through. When the order arrived, we enquired about the missing cheese curds and a different person (different from who had taken the order) at the counter behaved very rudely and accused that we are trying to game the system and have to pay for the cheese curds (separately) as we wrong in ordering! So she was implying that in order to save 20 cents on the order of $40, we were frauding the system. and here is a front desk employee saying that I am trying to cheat the system for 20 cents when she should be apologizing to me for the miss? So then I asked for the manager and she claimed that she is the manager !
Ideal thing should have been for her to apologize, fix the situation and could have even politely asked To pay for the difference!
Because of the ruckus caused, other staff came in and moved her to the back and apologized profusely.
Interesting, that Culver’s hires such arrogant AH! Who don’t know the first thing about customer service. Since that event, my weekly spend at Culver’s has gone down and I have moved to Chipotle and the next door ice...
