Really wanted to like this bar but it has a few unnecessary shortcomings. The entire hotel is filled with tons and tons of space. Like more space than you can believe and it’s mostly empty or decorative. Yet they crammed a bunch of tables and a bar into the smallest room possible. It was only moderately busy and nearly impossible to move around in the bar area without hovering over people trying to eat at very large tables in such a cramped space. Read moreI was so disappointed to see the interior of the Richardson since its changed ownership. The bar area is pathetically designed. There are several touches made to the outside and inside of the hotel that simply do not match the beauty of the building. Frankly, I can’t imagine this furniture or design elements would look good in any building but it’s even more saddening knowing that this should be a gem of Buffalo. The pasta chips were quite tasty but not enough to convince me to come back....
