My first time at Dog and Pony and it won’t be my last! Great location near Shea’s Seneca, great to see what is happening in this area. I was able to meet a friend for dinner and I tried the Korean Brussels sprouts and the winter squash salad. Both were delicious, had hearty portions and left me full even though it was a veggie heavy meal. Sprouts were crispy, not too spicy and perfectly cooked. The salad had plenty of toppings and was a great mix of fall themed items. Service was awesome and she had some great pointers on the food and cocktail menu. A great outdoor covered patio and plenty of gluten free menu options make this place a slam dunk.

Absolutely 5 stars by a landslide. The pork belly was off the hook, alongside the most soft and flavorful brussel sprouts on earth, it was a match made in heaven. (The brussel sprouts themselves are heavily flavored and be mindful before ordering by itself) I have to also mention that I just picked up a new #1 espresso martini, drink it from the glass not from the straw you'll see what I mean... Shannon was very friendly and helpful, she rocks. Regards from a full happy and satisfied consumer from Brooklyn.

Dog and Pony Saloon is a great South Buffalo spot for a fantastic cocktail menu. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. We usually enjoy sitting at the bar having a drink or two. I especially love their Espresso Martini and Aperol Spritz.

Went for dinner and walked into a gorgeous new bar area with lots of seating and some tables behind us. Big screen TVs to watch the game if you are so inclined but it wasn't too loud which is nice if you're there for dinner and some conversation. There is a proper dining room in the back but we like to sit at the beautifully lacquered oak bar. We ordered drinks right off and were impressed with the selection of cocktails . The negroni was superbly dry. The other patrons at the bar were super friendly and we struck up an amiable conversation almost immediately. For dinner I ordered the special Salmon ramen. Nice charred filet of salmon over a huge bowl of noodles and veggies. Very good and filling. I wish there was a bit more broth but we ate it all. Companion had the curry chickpea pot pie which was a delightful curry filling sandwiched between two puff pastry squares. Delicious. Compared to the ramen bowl though, for the price it was a little small. The addition of some chutney and yogurt would have been a nice touch. I would order it again tho, I love curry. I think they also used black chickpeas and as far as I know the only source for those is rancho Gordo in California. If that's the case then the price tag is well worth it because the chickpea curry was delicious. We had the short ribs to go for BIL waiting at home and he said they were fantastic! Fall of the bone, tender and tasty. Big chunks of meat, perched on top of a mound of garlic mashed potatoes and roasted broccolini, which were divine. Bartenders were awesome, friendly fast and a pleasure to chat with. Highly recommend and we...

A nicely refurbished bar. And nicely refurbished restaurant. These two statements are rather dull and uncomplementary for such a wonderful experience that my siblings and I had. The service was outstanding and done with a smile. She was outstanding in handling questions and knowledge of the menu and dealing with my sense of humor. The food was fantastic. One of my sisters had the smashburger and it was outstanding for her. She loved it and it was gluten free. My sister said the only thing disappointing is the gluten-free bun and she says that's standard for gluten-free buns for her. So no downside on the restaurant just on my sister's taste. My other sister and Italian sausage sandwich. The menu had a much nicer title than that, but I forget the title. That sister loved her meal entirely. My brother had the cheese steak steak sandwich. And chalk it up to another happy diner. My experience was the same as the other three. I enjoyed everything that was served. I even ordered the pretzels appetizer and enjoyed the hot pretzels with mustard and cheese sauces provided and one of my sisters and I took home a slice of cheesecake to enjoy later on. The prices fit in with modern restaurants and modern menus. It's $131 including two beers, the cheese and pretzel appetizer, a cup of soup, and four lunches and regular beverages. I definitely will be coming here again the next time with my wife....

Been wanting to check this place out for a while, and I'm glad we did!! Ended up getting the cluck Norris and man let me tell you.... It was amazing. The only thing I'm upset about when it comes the meal is, my girlfriend making me share it with her! Next time we will be getting our own! The meals we each got I guess in this economy are considered to be "reasonably priced" my cluck Norris was 18 and her steak sandwich was also 18. The place is definitely tight on space, but they really do make it work I would recommend getting there early to guarantee a spot. Will absolutely be going there again, Shannon was doing it all that afternoon! Bartending and serving, but never nice did we ever feel over looked. She was super nice and patient! Really took the time to help us pick the right meal, which I might add their lunch options are rather limited.... But in our case if we had more options to choose from we probably would have never picked a meal and most likely would have just started ourselves to death. I would really like to take a stab and see how their dinners are. Like I mentioned above I will definitely go back and maybe take a crack at the dinner meals (really though that cluc Norris would be so...
