I recently checked out The Caz, a new concert venue that just opened in South Buffalo, and I have to say, it’s a fantastic addition to the local entertainment scene. The venue is designed with a clear focus on creating an intimate but lively space for live music and cultural events, and it really delivers on that promise.
The layout of The Caz is perfect for connecting the performers with the audience. It’s not too large, so no matter where you are, you feel close to the action on stage. They’ve blended modern industrial design with Buffalo’s historic charm, which makes it feel both fresh and familiar at the same time. The sound system is top-notch, and the lighting sets the mood without being overwhelming. Whether you prefer standing in the crowd or sitting comfortably, the space accommodates both.
One of the things I love about The Caz is the variety of music they’re bringing in. You’ll find local bands sharing the stage with national acts, covering everything from indie rock to blues and jazz. The venue has a clear commitment to supporting local talent, which is a huge plus for the community. It’s a great place to discover up-and-coming artists, and it feels like a space that really champions Buffalo’s music scene.
The Caz feels like a new cultural hub for South Buffalo. It’s helping to revitalize the area by attracting people from all over the city and beyond. Plus, they’re collaborating with local businesses and organizations, which shows that they’re really invested in the neighborhood. It’s not just about the music; they’re creating a space for everyone to enjoy, whether it’s for a concert, a special event, or just a night out.
If you’re looking for a new spot to enjoy live music, I highly recommend checking out The Caz. The combination of great acoustics, diverse performances, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a standout venue in Buffalo. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s a great place to experience the city’s vibrant music scene and support...
Read moreI was so excited to finally get the opportunity to check out The Caz for the Girl Named Genny show. This was one of the most unique venues, which I believe used to be a bank as they still have the vault doors leading into the coat check. I absolutely loved the layout and the old timey jazz club vibe it gave off. There was plenty of seating and still has room for a dance floor (if tables are moved). The stage was beautiful with great lights and sounds, and the 2 TV's next to the stage were perfect to project for those sitting towards the back. They offer snack type food and the Cauliflower Bites were fantastic! One of my favorite things about The Caz, is that they offer a non-alcoholic menu for those looking for options other than alcohol. There were a few juicy mocktails but also the option of Spirit-Free cocktails (using non alcoholic, mushroom-based spirits) was a beautiful thing to see, especially for those of us in recovery! I can't wait to come back for more shows in...
Read moreWish I could give it 0 stars. Everything was overpriced. Admission to see a band that I've never paid for was $25.... hope some of it went to the band. Acoustics were awful. GM / Owner was RUDE AS HELL. As we paid for overpriced food, he yelled at us to get out of his way. Mind you, we were instructed to wait there by the bar staff for our food. Once we got the food there was no where to eat it. So there we stood, in the middle of everything, constantly having to move, just trying to eat.
Drinks were overpriced and bartenders were VERY slow to grab 2 bottles of beer. Cashless is horrible. Buddy had drinks on his tab that we never ordered. Took ages to get them removed.
Owner thinks he is a gift to everyone. Went on stage trying to steal the show. I was almost blinded by the lights off of his bald head. Thankfully the band ignored his ego and carried on with the show. 0/10. I've never been to a worse...
