This visit was based solely on one thing: the beef on weck. Probably the best value for the money in the city. That is if you're judging it strictly on the amount of meat and meal you get for 13 or so bucks. The copious amount of beef is not the tenderest. I suspect it is not cooked long, low, and slow, like a few other top spots in the Queen City. It's a meat eater's sandwich, cooked to medium rare, with a decent bun, at neighborhood joint. Straight forward. The fake gravy they serve with it, however, as opposed to au jus, is revolting. Throw it away immediately. This was the worst aspect of the sandwich. It's a sloppy shortcut that detracts from the meal. Never saw anybody serve a beef on weck without the requisite au jus. Didn't know it was legal. You might come back here for drinks, and if you were hungry, you'd probably order the sandwich, again. It's just that you would probably not come here strictly because of the sandwich. Not if you were on the hunt for a great one.

Stopped in here because there were good reviews for both their wings and their beef on weck, which are two of the things we wanted to sample while visiting Buffalo. We were not disappointed! Wings were absolutely delicious. Nice plump wings with lots of meat on them. They were also nice and juicy, not overcooked, even though we asked them to be fried extra crispy. Their homemade hot sauce had such a great flavor! It had some crushed red chilies in it and maybe a little bit of chili powder, so it was delicious. The roast beef sandwich was also really really good. Sometimes you can get a sandwich and it’s just a ball of thinly cut meat centered on a roll, but this filled the role completely and they had a delicious and spicy horseradish to top it with. The kimmlewick roll was nice and fresh & the salt on top was just the right amount of flavor. If you’re looking for a delicious buffalo experience try here!

We were in town for the weekend and I always hear good rings about Kelly's Korner BOW and wings. My party of 7 showed up and we found a table to sit at. Our waiter appeared and since we were first-timers informed us that there was no menu and everything was written on the wall in the other room. No problem there, we sent the youngest of our group to snap a few pictures and bring it back for us. We decided on 50 wings(bbq, garlic parmesan and medium) along with fries for the table. An order of chicken tenders was placed along with 2 beef on weck. The wings were really good. Nice crisp to then and not overly saucy. The BOW was huge and delicious. One of the best I've had in some time. Also the tenders were spot on. Needless to say nobody left hungry. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in town

Kelly's Korner seems to often find itself at the centre of "best wings in Buffalo" discussions- especially among the real wing connoisseurs who know to skip over Anchor and Duff's altogether (not that there's really anything wrong with either... but you can definitely do (much) better in town). So on one of my last visits to Buffalo (part of which was, no lie, dedicated to trying as many wing joints as possible), I couldn't miss out on this neighbourhood institution. This is the type of spot I love and crave so much- my own city (Toronto) tragically devoid of such authentic haunts anymore. Kelly's is a master class in "if it ain't broke"- I can picture everyone gathering to crush brews, watch the game, and devour wings, just the same today as they would've 30 years ago, and I absolutely adore that. The waitresses/bartenders were the very best embodiment of warmth and hospitality paired with character. I loved them. The wings are safely in my top three in all of Buffalo from what I've had so far. While they fall into the small-medium size category, the cook on them is flawless. One of the waitresses remarked the key is to their rest time- the longer you let them rest, the more they crisp up. Their classic medium hot sauce is perhaps the best I've had from all the must-try spots (Gabriel's Gate, Bar Bill, etc.). I do wish the wings were a touch larger in size, but certainly won't deduct a point for that- they are text book perfect otherwise. Will definitely be taking friends here on a wing tour. I was also told the beef on weck here was among the best in town, and of the four spots I've had the dish at (so far), this would safely fall in top place- perfectly tender and juicy, and well-seasoned. I'm drooling just thinking back to it. Can you tell I'm pretty in love with Kelly's? Can't wait to go back- next time would love to just kill a few hours there as opposed to my quick hour-long visit the first...

The fish fry is the best in the city. The service on the other hand...terrible. My husband and I have walked out on several occasions after being "snubbed" by the bartender who works Friday afternoon/evening.

She is rude and makes a point to walk away or turn her back when you walk up to the bar. With the bar as busy as it is, we make a point to approach the bar to order our drinks to save her from leaving the bar.

I walked up to the bar, where I was not even acknowledged with an "I'll be right with you" or even a smile. I waited 3-4 minutes as she continued to serve and talk to other patrons and I suppose friends. I left where I was standing and went back to the table where my husband was seated. By now we have been there for 6 minutes and have not even been acknowledged.

My husband got up and walked over to her where she was talking with some patrons and she turned her back to him. This is the 3rd time this had happened with this bartender.

We refuse to spend money in establishments where we are not appreciated as returning guests. We have brought friends and sent friends here....no more.

I am referring to the blonde with tattoos, who is probably 50 trying to look 30. She is rude and ignorant and is throwing away repeat customers....

was recently racially profiled at this bar all because I am black and have braids. Nikki the bartender refused to serve me because she thought I was somebody else who was black and had braids that had cause problems there a few weeks prior. Not once did Nikki handle this in a professional manner. Afterl had told her numerous of times that was not me, she continued to accuse me of being the person who caused the commotion. I asked her to see the footage of the incident, she then lied and said the cameras only keep videos for a couple of days. She then proceeded to get on her phone and call a male to come to the bar to "handle me". It wasn't until I showed her my identification she then admitted I was not the person who was the problem. If she was professional and went about this the right way, and had asked for my identification from the start there wouldn't have been a problem. I was very hurt and felt very disrespected by this situation because my friends and family love going to this bar and can't believe that in 2024 people have racist tendencies. I will never spend another penny here and will spread the word for people not to spend their hard earned money...
