I stopped in Buffalo on my way to Gillette to satisfy a sweet tooth. I strolled downtown in search of the perfect fix when I happened upon a neon sign buzzing with the word Bakery glowing in red. I pushed past the heavy door and stepped back in time. This quaint shop had once been the town's bank, vault, and all. The cinnamon rolls enticed the patrons who had no willpower to resist, and the coffee was piping hot. There were only a handful of seats to gather comfortably, but being there was only two in my party, we snuggled up in the front of the fireplace and carried on a conversation with the owner until we laid our forks in our empty plate. Read moreI stopped in Buffalo Wyoming to put in a work day while driving across the state. This little shop was so much more than a place with good wifi (which is does have). The atmosphere transports you back in time, with the lace table clothes, old timey photos and comfy seating. The space is an old bank that the owners have turned into a work of art. Not to mention the staff is friendly and the coffee and snacks are delicious.

And I am consistently shocked at how inexpensive this place is - you can leave with a big bag of goodies for under $20.00.
