Cute bar with limited food but heavy focus on drinks. There are only a few tables in the bar, and they come with a 90 minute time limit. However the limit wasn't enforced with us, which originally we thought was because one person arrived late and we were waiting for her food and we thought they couldn't make us leave while we waited for that... But her empanadas never came and an hour later we left without them. I think the entrance to the parking lot is on Niagara St, but the sign says to enter from Breckenridge, and then there's no entrance to parking there and you can't go back because it's a one way street, so the lot had one car in it (guessing employee) and everyone else had street parking. If you get one thing here, the chipotle cheese fries are amazing and feed 3 people. I had to bring some home and they had giant takeout containers when each item is actually pretty small itself so it seemed wasteful. The desserts came in little baby food sized jars. They were delicious, but again focus was on small portions with big flavor, so that has so be what you're looking for. It's not a "dinner" spot, but a nice place for locals to have a drink and snack.

If you like empanadas, this is a buffalo location you should try. Tapas style with two per order. We had the beef, shrimp, and pork. Our favorite by far was the pork. It is flavorful and unique. I described it as a Cuban sandwich in empanada form. We also got their pickles and corn which were decent. Their cocktails are honestly phenomenal. If you want more bang for your buck, get the carafe of mojito of choice. Staff was okay and the spot is good. Outdoor area is nice but you do have an occasional sulfur smell that's out of their control. This was my second time visiting and I would visit again.

I had a pretty good experience, the Mojitos were great, if I were to come back it probably would just come back to drink. The beef empanadas were good without any dipping sauce, the chicken empanadas were okay just wished the chicken was shredded not cubed. I wish the side sauces had some spice to them but thats just my preference. The jerk corn I wish was severed hot and spicy and wish the pineapple rice was fried with something extra maybe toasted coconut. Overall the experience was good, staff was great and would definitely recommend.

Mint is a great meetup spot for a small group of friends or a date. The food is delicious with a small but diverse menu (the empenadas were flavorful and perfectly cooked). The cocktails, aside from the mojitos, were fun and unique while still being very tasty. Service was friendly and comforting as well. The only qulam I had, as mentioned, was the mojitos. For being the signature drink, they were the least impressive drink. They were thick and very sugary, not sure if they are made with mix but the passion fruit, hibiscus and mint flavors were all the same flavor and texture. Like I said, this is an awesome place, a must-visit for everything but...

My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner at Mint and it could have not been a better experience for us. Allison was so easy to work with from start to finish. It was the only part of the wedding planning process that wasn't stressful. We rented out the whole dining room for the night and she provided us with our own designated bar spot. All of our guests raved about the food and the drinks! One of our guests has a gluten allergy and she had her chef design 3 options for her meal. Our guest loved the neal she picked from the 3 options. We couldn't recommend this place enough for whether to have a party or just to come for...
