Not exactly my forte to leave a review, so this should speak volumes; I'm not proud to admit it, but I frequent this Taco Bell. I like the food, sue me. And truly it's not the portions, or the "cleanliness" that has me writing this review. It's the ICONSISTANCY of this establishment. I'll humor you the reader and tell you my order for the sake of this. I get a cheesy double beef burrito. No strip-chips(?), add jalapeno sauce, and grill it. (It's relevant, I promise.) Ever so often, I'll order my burrito, it's perfect. Healthy helping of rice, meat, sauce, etc. And whether it's drive-thru, or going into the restaurant itself, it's genuinely just a solid, polite and efficient trip. They'll make pleasantries, and overall have you in and out in ten minutes tops. But more often than not, for whatever reason (maybe the General Manager or shift lead or whoever has authority has to go conduct at a different location and let's the team do whatever they want). But it is EASILY the most UNPROFESSIONAL, DISORDERLY, and DOWNRIGHT INANE excuse of service that I have ever seen. It is absurd who they let run the show. My order whenever there isn't an adult or professional supervisor present is actually always wrong to the point where I was certain they were doing a bit. There will be CHILDREN behind the counter blasting music, talking amongst themselves, and just not doing their work to the point there's a crowd of angry Door Dashers huddled around the register, and a line out the door because they DON'T DO THEIR JOB. I came in tonight, got my burrito in the drive thru and explicitly told Ronnie B. "Hey, I've had a few instances where they just won't grill the burrito and forget the jalapeno sauce, can you just ensure it will come out right? No trouble, if it's easier, throw it on the side." I have no reason to lie because I have genuinely received GOOD service here before. She assured me it would be correct. I receive my food (had to pull into a parking lot spot because the line was out the door, can't fathom why). And surprise, surprise, IT WAS WRONG. Not grilled and no sauce. I go in and tell her amongst the crowd of irate dashers "Hey, I get you guys are busy, these aren't grilled. Could you fix them for me?" Actual words, going to quote exactly how it went because it was so recent. She took my bag, and told the gentleman working the food station "He said you made this wrong". First of all, I didn't "say" it was wrong. It WAS wrong. It wasn't grilled. I'm not accusing you of anything, it is a FACT that is was wrong! And it's not even that big of a deal, but why are you going to tell him I'm accusing him of making my order wrong? Anyway, he grills it and she hands the same burritos back to me. I personally asked her because I only watched them grill it not add the sauce, "Is the jalapeno sauce on there?" To which she said yes. It. Was. Not. I checked, double checked. It wasn't. So I walk back up and said "There isn't sauce on these, I won't make you take them back a third time. Can you just give it to me on the side?" She huffs back to the cook and remarks that "Now he's saying you forgot the sauce". She shuffles back to me with a singular cup of sauce for four burritos and tells me "He said he put the sauce on your burritos, but we can give you this one for free." Don't act like you're doing me any favors. You rightfully fixed what you guys messed up. And it actually wasn't even that big of a deal to me until she said that. How can you be so unprofessional and clueless that you not only refuse to admit your shortcomings but go out of your way to make the customer feel like less than for sticking up for their order being made wrong? That is baffling. I'm really disappointed in this consistently bad service especially seeing how good it CAN be. This establishment is like a toxic ex who promises "it will be different this time". And I fall for it every single time. Taco Bell on Elmwood, I know you can be great. You know you can be great. Stop letting teens run your establishment. Ronnie, leave food...
Read moreLet me just say please don’t come here during the day if you have a job…. I work remote and I go through a drive through maybe once every 1-2 months. Every single time without fail especially at this location there will be a line of cars in the drive thru or a bunch of people standing around. It does make me wonder what are all of these people doing….do they even have jobs? Only 7-12% of people have 100% remote jobs in 2024 and I’m one of those few. I rarely eat fast food. I love Taco Bell though so again I probably come every 2 months. Never ever got through the drive thru faster than 10-15 minutes. The last time I tried to get food here the systems were down and they said they couldn’t make anything. They told me this as they handed a man his multiple bags of food. They told the men who came in behind me the same thing. The staff was always nice the previous time I came here but this was crazy. It’s not their fault their systems were down but every time there’s something. I come here so infrequently it’s safe to say this must be happening all the time if it happens to me every time I come and that’s only every 2 months. Ofc people are pissed their food isn’t there or is messed up so on top of not getting your food you have to deal with the bums who hang out here who are aggravated from their own food being messed up/ taking a long time. On my way out some man who looked around 30 tried to harass me. I went to some Mediterranean place and got a huge much healthier meal in less than 5 min after this experience lol. I won’t be back. This place reminds me why I never eat fast food and cook all my own food. I’ll miss my Crunchwrap’s and nachos but it’s not worth coming here definitely go to a...
Read moreMy daughter ordered from this location yesterday…she had told me they grub hub app(horrible app btw) said it was ready for pickup…around 4 pm I got only to chairs in front of the drive through and doors locked. I stood outside Taco Bell’s main entrance knocking the 4 women inside refused to answer the manager ironically sitting only a few feet a way…after the 6th knock the door was opened up rudely by rhe manager. She proceeded to tell me she was the only one there I then said there’s three others behind the counter and also said I had already paid for the order and was told to come and get it. She then ignorantly said you need to get a refund from GrubHub and then repeated Im the only one here with that Martin Lawrence snap of the fingers Shan nay nay way! The to further the stupidity grub hub refused to refund the 20 dollar order. Not to mention the over 60 minutes spent on the phone with both companies as they held the other one responsible. I have pictures and videos of the incident and if my money isn’t returned I’m posting the encounter and out of principle going to small claims. It’s not about the money!!! It was also the 6th time I had went there only not receive food. The other times were not through the app but just on a whim. My daughter was basically robbed of 20 dollars. In the end mighty taco took care of me and my daughter. The workers there didn’t act like stereo types and were pleasent and the food came quickly. If something isn’t resolved and is t done about the money I will be posting the...
