EDIT 4/9/24
I gave the place another try after management provided me with a $15 gift card after my lackluster experience the first time. I stopped at the Briar Bros location again and ordered the same thing. Holy Moly! Night and Day! Everything had great seasoning, the breading stayed on the chicken this time and just overall absolutely delicious. I will definitely continue to order when I'm at Briar Bros!!! Thank you for the gift card and the excellent customer service! ‐---------------------
I tried Hen House last night down at Briar Brothers. I snagged the 3 piece tender meal with fries.
The good: Service was solid for a food truck and super convenient. Just scan a qr code from one of the signs in the brewery, put in order, pay and bam, someone runs you your food whenever it's ready. Wait wasn't bad either especially for the Bills crowd that was there.
You get a pretty large portion of food. Usually I can throw down 3 tenders easily but between those, the fries and the bread I was unable to finish it all.
Seasoning is on point, I got medium and the flavor was really good.
The Not so good part:
Maybe this is the way nashville does it but the fried batter on the chicken was not attached to the chicken. Good luck breaking apart any of the fingers because you lose all the breading. Ultimately I had one side of my dish as naked chicken tenders and the other side as fried breading. Even just biting into the chicken caused the breading to fall off.
The chicken without the breading was bland and extremely tough. Chicken should be juicy but this was dried out to the point of no return.
Overall, I think the 2 issues that I had were probably because the fryers were set too high as a temp or cooked too long. I may give it another try but I'm not rushing back, there are many other places around the city that have amazing...

You basically order and pay at the front and you can either take the order to go or dine in. There’s plenty of seats available and there was cartoon playing in the background.
We ordered the big tender box ($37) which consists of 10 tenders, 6 dips, fries, pickles and coleslaw. There were also 4 slices of bread on the bottom of the tenders.
Customer service was pretty good, the cashier was pretty friendly.
For the tenders we got half mild and half medium. The medium tasted better than mild and wasn’t spicy in my opinion. The tenders are chicken breast (white meat) and it was pretty thick. I found eating two tenders was enough for me.
The sauces are pretty standard! We got honey mustard, bbq, ranch and the hens special (similar to the chick fil a sauce). I think bbq is the best.
The coleslaw was creamy and the pickles are what you can expect.
Overall, this is a nice spot to visit! Portion is pretty good for the price! But I’d get medium or even...
Read moreWe got the honey hot chicken sandwiches, hot, everything on them. The Good: The chicken pieces were substantial and cooked perfectly. The fries were great, albeit not my SO's favorite cut (crinkle), but I thought they were perfectly crispy cooked and the paper bag is a great touch to keep em from going soggy quickly on the go. The bad (and fixable): The seasoning. It was undersalted, both the fries and the chicken. The chicken did seem a little light on sauce (basically drizzed on top like a dressing, soaking more on the bun than chicken) compared to a true Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, maybe saucing more would have helped? I'm also not a fan of the choice to use sweet dill pickles instead of sour dill. Personal preference, but still a preference. The sour from the dill would compliment the sweet from the hot sauce, not compound it.
Overall, the food is good and a great value. Hopefully, my recommendations are considered to make this a true 5/5...
