Checkers — Restaurant in Buffalo

I am a Checkers Lover and order from them when I can find them when I am on the road (I am a truck driver). Today was a major disappointment. Placed my order in drive thru, asked if it was all there, they repeated the order to me, daughter passed the food out in my car, only to realize my Burford was missing. So I used the window, I was polite intially and mentioned they forgot my burger to which they said it was there and few are you sures so offered them to check my car ... 3 hots, my daughters chzbrg, mozzarella sticks and loaded fries is what we got.. NO EXAGGERATION 20 minutes for a missing burger they insisted I had..I don't have time to being making up stuff I have 2 younger kids in the car, school night, and still an 1hr and 5 minute drive home...ugh and after waiting I requested fresh fries since mine would naturally be cold not the loaded fries which was my orignal order cuz I wasn't out to take nothing but a hot meal which was also my 1st meal for the day. For some reason this was an unreasonable request in this mans eyes and at that point I did proceed to say at the window that, that was rude and inconsiderate after all that time that I had been waiting. I get mistakes happen but not be considerate to a mistake I didn't make and to not honor a simple request is crazy. To act like I was trying to take something I didn't pay for is crazy for me to have gone through the amount of time lost for that. I don't know about the others that represent this particular Checkers but this I hope isn't the best even over all good of the bunch or there is going to be a need for some serious damage control within the community. Ordered 2 cheeseburgers and an order of mozzarella sticks at the drive thru which we had to exsplain several times as he couldnt get it right. We are told to pull up for the total. We get to the window and the guy says "four floats right?" We said "no 2 cheese burgers and an order of moz sticks". He then insists we are wrong and says "if you cant order right I should make you drive back around, but Ill let it slide this once". This was his mistake not ours in anyway. We are then told to pull up in front for our food. We waited, no exaggeration, over 15 minutes! I go up to find out what the hold up is as atleast 6 or 7 cars had come and gone. Another 5 minutes later we are given our food with a free fry and $5 coupon which is almost an insult considering the bizarre rude exsperience and 20+ min wait for two cheeseburgers and moz sticks. We could have ate at a sit down resturant if I had 20-25 min to kill and wait. The food was okay, the manager was nice and deserves to work somewhere better. Checkers can shove the $5 coupon up their....I will never go there again!

I never knew this location was here . I usually hit up McDonald’s on my way home from band practice at night ( I’m not from Kenmore , not too familiar with the area ) ... the location right across from Checkers is HORRIBLE !!!! Every time you wait between 20-60 minutes in the drive thru just to be told “ we Are only serving fries and drinks currently “, or “ we are only accepting door dash orders right now “.... when you DO get to actually order when everything is up and running the order is wrong and after sitting in the drive thru for your order for 45-50 minutes at times ( no exaggeration there ) the food you ordered is cold and fries and soggy or harder than a rock . Maybe they put online orders first and drive up customers get what’s been laying around? Don’t know .

Anyways , I discovered Checkers ! Normal reasonable wait time in the drive thru , food was made correctly and fries and burgers were perfect !!!! The burgers and fries in my opinion are way better here than McDonald’s anyways.... not sure if that HORRIBLY ran store across the street is on the manager or owner..... but the issues are never corrected.
