The bar area smells like a huge can of beer but hey its a college bar right? There is a lot on the side they share with lake effect so your not forced to use the pay2park machine whoot whoot!
This place is appropriate for all ages during breakfast lunch and dinner hours. They do turn up and party after 9. Be prepared to be ID'd at the door.
We called last minute and got reservations so that was a good sign. Our waitress was very polite her service was great.
The drinks are a bit pricey I'll say. At least $10 a pop besides some wines and most beer.
My boyfriend ordered was the philly steak soup appetizer which was phenomenal came with crackers.
I got the french onion soup. French Onion soup was so CHEESEY. More cheese than actual soup but the flavor was spot on so I gave a pass.
The macaroni and cheese tastes like REAL baked mac and cheese if you know what I mean a side is $7. Fish fry is HUGE and will definitely fill you up.
I got the Blackened Cajun Chicken and Shrimp Alfredo. For me it was a nice portion. The chicken was good and flavorful and the shrimp was buttered, peppered and salted. I was expecting more of a spicy kick to it but it was great.
Overall our bill wasn't too high. And we both enjoyed our time. Plan on...
Read moreI celebrated my birthday here. The venue was nice but the mangers weren't nice and lied to me about what was allowed at my event. I booked it 4 months in advance and when I got there to set up the manger came to talk to me. The 17 dollar open bar turned too 20 with taxes even though the other manager said taxes were included. I was also told it was a premium bar but all we got were well. They told me not everyone had to be 21 but the day of they told me they couldn't so I had to tell my sister and other close friends last minute they couldn't come. I made pudding shots to go with my birthday cake and the manager wouldn't let me pass them out but yet he wanted to try some. They gave me dj a hard time for setting up. Honestly if I didn't plan it for so long I would of changed locations for my party. The manager ended up being the bartender for the night and all my friends were telling me how rude he was. I've been in the service industry myself for over 5 years and I know when a customer pays for a service you should be nice and try your best to make that person happy. Instead I was stressed out when I was suppose to be enjoying my night. I still had a great time thanks to my friends and the security staff was super...
Read moreGot thrown out after giving a homie a compliment. He took it superrrr wrong, could tell he was just looking for a problem after I talked to his buddy, and the security guard who was with him before hand. Security guard proceeded to grab me by my neck multiple times after I told him I’ll leave as I was walking towards the door. Place is always banging for the college clientele, but I would suggest not supporting because all the money at the door goes straight to the owners pocket, which was confirmed by the security guard who threw me out, well before he threw me out (lol). Overall place is fun, but the guards have an ego and seem to enjoy the thrill, even when there is nothing wrong. I literally laughed out loud when I left because of this. I’d support the frat behind here instead. They don’t like the owner because they know what he is really about. You should have seen the sign down the road from his place before it got taken down. Ask a local, they know what it said, and what the owner is like. A...
