Here is my review for delivery for phone order, and below is the review for the food. I took off one star cause of POOR delivery timing, and one cause of the food. Yes it’s authentic Indian food. They do take card but are more pushy for cash payments. Read on for details.
✨My take on DELIVERY (scroll below for food review):: So I want to start off saying, the delivery service is just really BAD! Took past an hour to get to me and food was just a bit warm. This is just messed up considering I was doing them a favor by not ordering through grub hub so they wouldn’t have to pay 20% to grub hub. So they asked me to order through phone for this reason and I obliged and said my order would get to me in 20-30 mins. I called back an hour after waiting for my food and asked them where my food was at? They said “it’s on its way now”— seriously?! Funny thing smh, it’s like they forgot until I called and reminded them- the guy shows up 10 mins later after the call! You could have at least been considerate and put in something small as a way of making it up to the customer. Something as small as some pappardum bread or really anything as an apology like wow (So yeah, ordered at 7:30pm for dinner and finally got to eat at 9:15pm).
✨Now, the FOOD review:: First off im brown, just as a reference for how much I know about Indian food. I ordered the Chicken Makhani (asked for medium spicy) which comes with rice, a naan, an order of samosas and an order of kheer.
✅What food was good:: The chicken Makhani was actually pretty good with the rice. If you can’t tolerate a regular amount of spice, ask them for light spicy. If you like your food spiced up a bit then go for medium! I also got an order of Aloo (potato) samosas which we’re also good with the chutney sauces. ❌What food wasn’t good:: As for the naan, because they took so long to deliver my food, was cold and soggy from staying in the foil too long, and it was half burnt (see photo). Disappointing for $2 a naan! The kheer—Was so watered down you would think they didn’t have enough kheer left after they took my order! It’s like they mixed whatever kheer they had left for the night. It was like soup consistency (that wasn’t cheap either, $4+tax).
📍Would I order from here again, maybe (depending on how hungry and how much I’m craving Indian food again) cause the delivery of my food was half of what ruined my experience of trying this place for the first time. Overall, some of the items are pricy here. The only things worth paying for is the main course dishes. I wouldn’t order sides again at their prices unless it’s fresh and hot upon delivery.
📍Advice to business*It would be nice if you guys can be more considerate of your delivery customers if they’re helping you by not ordering on grubhub! Because next time I’m thinking of ordering on grubhub so if I don’t get my food, at least I have proof that I ordered and paid and can file a complaint. Whereas if I ordered on the phone and paid, I’m just waiting around aimlessly for my food to come with no actual estimated time of delivery. It would be nice to have hot food also and not have to microwave it after...

I went to Buffalo to visit Niagara Falls, searched for some good restaurants near us, found this one with good ratings, so decided to check it out. The moment we went inside, talking about the ambience, I cannot rate it below 0. Otherwise I would have done that. Pungent smells all over the place as if we have entered a dirty public restroom. The server got 2 small water bottles for us and she didn't mention the charge for water displayed anywhere. Or else we could have asked for just a normal glass of water. Waited for at least 40 minutes after we placed our order. We received our chapati 10 minutes earlier before the chicken curry arrived.
God knows why they do so. Our roti became soggy and cold. We asked them to replace it. They got it microwaved . We were there for 2 hours. There was no manager, just a lady who was the owner. She kept on shouting at the staff for the whole time. She is actually very rude. I really feel for the staff working there. At the time of payment ,their card machine was not working. Our server asked us for our card details to enter manually.. Is she for real? Who will provide their card details?? We paid in cash, and asked to clarify why they had charged us for water.
She said we do charge for bottle sorry I forgot to mention. We asked to discuss this with the manager. Again, that lady appeared who was very loud & disrespectful and said- " ye aise Indians aate hai na ye hi aisi harkat karte hai, angrez to paise de dete hai water ke" ( these type of Indians never pay for water but white people do)
She said" After COVID, we stopped serving water in glasses."People are concerned about hygiene." What????? Are we kids?? Do we look like fools?? We even got a chance to peek in their kitchen as it was on the way to the restroom. Believe me, it was horrific, horrible. Very unhygienic.. The thing is, we have no problem paying for water , it's just a matter of a couple of dollars, but atleast inform us before. Keep transparency .. Images attached of dirty...
Read moreA Disappointing Dining Experience
I recently had the misfortune of visiting a restaurant that left much to be desired. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that the staff had an air of arrogance that permeated the entire establishment. The poor services that followed only served to worsen my already deteriorating impression.
To begin with, the staff seemed completely oblivious to the needs and preferences of their customers. Despite specifically requesting a kids' order without any spice, they not only failed to understand the simple request but also ended up serving a spicy dish to my child. It is astonishing that a supposedly professional establishment cannot comprehend or accommodate such a basic requirement.
Moreover, the restaurant falsely presents itself as a family-friendly establishment. However, it quickly became evident that it was far from it. The atmosphere was far too chaotic and lacked the warmth and welcoming ambiance that one expects from a family restaurant. The staff's blatant rudeness only further cemented my belief that this was no place to enjoy a peaceful meal with loved ones.
What struck me the most was the constant confrontational behavior exhibited by the staff. They were quick to engage in arguments and seemed ready to pick fights with customers who raised even the slightest criticism. It is truly disheartening that instead of addressing concerns and rectifying their mistakes, the staff chose to exacerbate the situation and make dining there an uncomfortable experience.
In conclusion, my visit to this restaurant was marred by the arrogance of the staff, poor services, a complete disregard for customer preferences, and an atmosphere that was anything but family-friendly. I strongly advise against dining at this establishment unless you enjoy being treated with disrespect and having your dining experience soured by unprofessional behavior.
I sincerely hope that the management takes immediate steps to address these issues and improve the overall...
