I recently visited Barrett's Baked Goods and was thoroughly impressed. I tried their sugar cookie and snickerdoodle cookie, and both were incredibly soft and delicious. All of their baked goods look incredible, with a fantastic variety that includes candy, ice cream, pasta, and other delicious foods. First of all. The friendliness of the staff was so inviting and warm. Loved meeting them! There are SO many gluten free options here. I was just in town for an event and wanted a sweet treat so googled gluten free bakeries near me. So glad this one popped up! I will make the drive back for sure! Not only were there many GF choices, they were also excellent in taste and quality. OVERPRICED and UNDER TASTE! I did not go to this bakery hunting anything in particular, I saw their ad on facebook. So the first negative is that unless you are going south on Atlanta Hwy, it is horrible trying to get into the small strip and then back to go north on Atlanta Hwy. However the worst thing is that I ended up purchasing a mixed blondie/brownie. While it looked good, old fashioned bakeries used the same recipe to make basically everything and then add a little different flavoring or something - well this tasted like that old fashioned bland "stuff".
