First things first this new location in Buford is not like a typical Chick Fil A location in that it doesn't have an interior dine in seating area (but they have several seats and tables outside which should be nice when the weather improves) and there is no children play area. I've heard mixed reviews about this place so I kept frequenting the chick fil a location in Sugar Hill but I discovered that this location is so much closer to our home and hoped they had worked out their opening kinks. My first visit, the customer service was a little disorganized and seems like kids having more fun rather than working. I refrained from writing a review at that time, since it seemed unfair. Revisited the location today which was a week later and the service has largely improved and I kind of like how quick it is to order through the app and pick up at the outdoor window. The food was great as well and no mistakes were made with our order. I recommend ordering via the app as I have found they don't make mistakes if ordering via this method.
Overall, I'm a fan, but when I'm with my child I will probably make the drive to the location with a children's play area as that's a reason he loves going to Chick Fil a so he can play. I hope this location does well as it is very convenient to get a chick fil a fix.

Read moreI went through the drive through and ordered 1 thing: a spicy deluxe with bacon and tomato. After waiting for a while in the drive through I get my sandwich and they forgot to put the spicy filet on the sandwich…it was literally bun, cheese, tomato, lettuce and bacon. No chicken. I go back around the drive through, wait another 8ish minutes and tell the people at the window. They take the sandwich back (I’m assuming to just add a filet). When I finally get the new sandwich it has no tomato. I checked it while still in the drive thru and told them that at this point I would like a refund (for approximately 20 minutes wasted in a drive through with the wrong order twice). They get a manager who tells me they will refund AND TAKE THE SANDWICH. To which I said, okay then can you just get me tomatoes? Because what sense does it make to waste 20+ minutes and leave with no food? As someone who worked at a CFA for years, this is terrible resolution management. I feel like it’s really inconsiderate to waste so much of a customers time getting an order wrong twice (resulting in me having to go through the drive through which moves at a glacial pace twice, three times if I didn’t check prior to leaving) and take no responsibility to actually remedy the situation. Read moreThis is the worst Chick-fil-A I have ever been to. We have gone multiple times and I keep thinking it has to get better eventually but nope… I placed my order for a mobile order and ordered my son a kids meal with an ice cream cone. They brought the food but not the ice cream. I asked the girl where my ice cream was and she said she would go check on that and never came back. I pulled up and asked the next guy where my ice cream was and he said he’d go check on it and I heard him ask someone else to do it…. I was literally looking at the ice cream machine…. The guy he asked clearly didn’t want to do it so neither of them did. I kept asking where it was and the one that finally did it refused to actually walk it the 10 feet to the car and was trying to delegate that task to someone else…. Like WHAT?!? When I asked what took so long the guy tried to say they were busy with another order….. like I couldn’t see the entire interaction happening in front of me. This whole place is run by the same high schoolers that probably go 60 mph through our neighborhood… I don’t think an actual adult works there. I hope corporate can help this place or they might need Gordon Ramsey to come teach them a thing or two about running...
