The entire staff was cussing and talking vulgar at or around 8pm on 10/2/25. The pizza cutter, who was a little older with what looks like smokers facial hair, did several things. Let's start with health code.
Health Code: touching ready to eat food to move it. Not swapping cutters for cutting reasons. No gloves for the ready to eat food. Outside him, don't carry plastic containers of meat and cheese on top of raw dough.
Unprofessional: The pizza cutter told all the customers not to cross their arms and look at him and said "crossing your arms and staring won't make it go faster" (or something extremely close to that). When a customer heard him and called him out that we were standing there and heard him, she asked him about it.. he never responded. The younger gentlemen up front handled it as well as he could. But the cutter kept cussing and blaming coworkers for whatever reason.
Personal opinion from running several pizza places at once: to the person who was rude and unprofessional, stop constantly pushing your food back into the oven and then complain how they are all coming out too fast and out of order. You did most of it. If you need help, then ask. Two or three people asked if you needed help and you denied all of them.
Being in this place for a pickup makes me want to stop ordering here. I fully understand about the pizza industry, as I started from a driver, to insider, to manager, to GM of several locations. But when has it been acceptable to call your customers and coworkers out like this? Not sure who the manager was as no one seemed to be in charge. I just hope someone sees this.
Sorry for the long story, but this is one of my first times picking up food instead of having it delivered. I wanted to share my story...
Read moreOn 8/26/23 I ordered pizza & pasta & paid for it with my credit card at 8:12pm to be delivered at 9:21pm.
The pizza did not show up, I called Dominos in buford and the phone rang for 25 minutes non stop.
Now at 9:48pm I decided to drive to dominos, I walked in and you could hear the phones constantly ringing in the back ground and the girl at the counter was on her personal cell phone doing nothing for customers at Dominos.
I told her I was there to get my order that was supposed to be delivered at 9:21pm and I wanted the money back because it was not delivered & I was also charged a delivery charge.
She said oh we're busy and backed up while she continues with her personal phone and the company phone is ringing in the back ground with no one to answer.
She promptly refunded the money and gave me cold food at 10:03pm that had now been sitting there since it had been made.
I don't like to complain or give bad reviews but this store has no management or the operation would not be functioning like this.
It's not the girls fault she was on the phone it's her managers fault because she has had no customer service training. This young lady needs training and the management of this store needs to be replaced.
I realize I am only one of thousands of customers you serve from this store so I am sure I am sure this letter will be the topic of a shift meeting full of jokes & jeers for the team members but need I remind you Dominoes built a multi Billion dollar empire by being the best in the pizza industry when a pizza company had a short business life in a very competitive Industry & market.
They can't hope to stay in business with service &...
Read moreWhat I am about to say is PROBABLY more the fault of the post-pandemic world in which not only are companies desperately trying to find help, but their automated application review systems are ignoring most applications based on the pre-pandemic world. Basically the AIs that preprocess applications don't know what "we're desperate to hire" means and companies are wondering why they can't find applicants (because they're relying too much on opaque, black box automation)
Con: This place is generally so slow that it can take a very long time for your pizza to even be finished. Then it can sit, finished, for upwards of an hour or longer at times before it even even leaves on a delivery vehicle. Pro: Not only do you get the 10 points to go toward 60 points needed for a free pizza if you order online, but the slowness results in receiving an automated email offering (at least currently) another 60 free points. Meaning you get a free pizza each time and after 6 slow deliveries you can get 2 free pizzas. Though you have to claim the offer in the email fairly quickly, and the usual delivery charges apply unfortunately.
Also, every time I order, I set it for contactless delivery and every time the delivery person stands there waiting for me to answer the door. I do Doordash as a side gig, and I pay attention contactless instructions. It's not hard to do.
TL;DR: Frustratingly slow, but exploitable for free pizza if you don't mind cold pizza, and they refuse to do...
