Look... I'm not one to normally leave a review like this. However... I placed an order for delivery through your app. Never had any issues before. I placed my order at 7:03pm and it went out for delivery at 7:37pm. All well and good until around 8:20 when I call the store because my delivery still hasn't arrived. I'm told the manager is out delivering and will be there soon. With apologies. No problem. Until about 8:40ish and there has still been no delivery, and my app says my order is still out for delivery. I decided to go to the store to see what was happening... less than two miles, but I'd opted for delivery due to a migraine. The lobby is closed. I go to the drive-thru and am informed they just closed. It's not even 9 pm yet. I state that I actually placed an order for delivery nearly two hours before. The young man knew exactly who I was and explained that as soon as we had hung up previously that his manager had called to say he couldn't find my apartment and that he would call me as soon as he got back and give me a refund. He offered to call the manager, and I said, "No. He can just refund me when he returns, and I'll take my business elsewhere." I did drive off, but returned to wait in the parking lot to ensure I did indeed receive my refund. Sorry... but I had no trust in whoever was working by this point. I just wanted to ensure I wasn't forgotten about. I was able to witness the managers return and the subsequent processing of my refund. As soon as my phone gave the alert, I left.
Again, I don't like posting reviews like this... yet, the biggest opportunity from this staff that worked the night of 2/23 was to have called me to inform me of any of the possible scenarios that could have happened or was told happened. I've had Jimmy John's drivers call me before. Why did I not receive a call this time? To ask me where my apartment was if they were having difficulty finding it... or to let me know deliveries were delayed for whatever reason... I understand things happen. Maybe they were short-staffed, maybe something broke, I truly don't know other than what I was told. JJ's make some of my favorite sandwiches, and I'll order again, but not from this location for the foreseeable future. As far as my actual star reviews... I received no food to rate and did not experience an atmosphere to rate.
I'd like to say the associate I spoke with directly was kind and courteous, and I had no issue in our interactions. I'm simply asking the team to do better going forward in this...
Read moreWent to this location earlier this week and had about a 20 minute wait in the drive-through after I had mobile ordered. I talked this up to just been busy during the lunch rush so I can give it another chance today on a Sunday mobile ordered for my husband and I at 11:53 I pulled into Jimmy John’s about 1156 and proceeded to sit there and wait in line for two cars in front of me to go through the drive-through to went through and the one behind me left and I did not get my food until 1243. If you were trying to get lunch on your lunch break, don’t go to Jimmy John’s on Buford Drive. I would’ve love the option to cancel my order but that’s not available on the app and nobody came to the window and 30 minutes that I was sitting there one person came to the window at the very beginning it said they were working on my sandwich and then I do not see anyone for another 30 minutes at least. I know everyone is struggling with getting employees at this time, but come to the window and say I’m sorry we’re running behind. Would you like to cancel your order any of those options. Nobody did anything until I said excuse me really loud and the guy came running to the window with my sandwiches almost an hour after I ordered them.
Update: got home and my sandwich had one piece of meat, had old avacado spread and tasted weird so I couldn’t...
Read moreI have tried to give this location a few chances to step up their game, but every time is a fail. Today I go an no bread, some guy just got in and just made the bread for the day, now this was 120pm in the afternoon, tell me WHY we have no bread for a sandwich place, the service is friendly but this location is so slow and I mean I have waited more then 10 minutes in the drive thru. Today they had to give me my sandwiches on wraps, did not cut the wraps and I ordered two of them, I also ordered a pickle and asked for it to be cut in 4 and that did not happen, also I asked for mustard packages and none in the bag. The guy over the speaker as well as the drive thru guy very friendly and kind, but I tell you, it is suppose to be a quick drive thru, the moto for Jimmy Johns is freaky fast, well that is not happening, and I am not sure but either they are under staffed and need to figure that out or they have employees that have no idea what they are doing. This is not the first time, but this is like the 3rd or 4th time I have gone in the last few months and today was a final straw, I will be taking my business to subway and now firehouse subs is opening up down the street, so today will be the last day I spend money at...
