Read moreCan't wait to go back!! So my first impression: the place was super neat and tidy. Great decor, not too much, not too little. I was greeted by the nicest woman. She was very patient while I stared at the menu like an idiot. Finally settled on the Dahi Batata Shev Puri, and samosas. Asked for chicken samosas but they didn't have those, so I got the vegetable ones. I was doubtful at first, but they were amazing!!! So flavorful and yummy. I was concerned that there would be green peas in there, but there were not. If there were actually some ground up in there, please don't tell me. The sauce they serve with them is REALLY good. I think it's just a normal green chutney but yeah, great. The Dahi Batata Shev Puri (I'll post a pic in a bit). They're beautiful tiny crispy shells filled with yummy stuff. She said you just pop the whole thing into your mouth, fun! They would have been fantastic but something in there was sweet. Not my thing but I'm sure they're amazing to folks who don't mind sweet stuff. Anyway, can't wait to go back and take the whole fam, and try lots of their...

I ordered a butter chicken curry with Malaysian paratha, chicken kathi roll and a chicken tikka panini, all of them had a heavy hand of the smoke flavor …not the natural smokiness but like the kind you get from too much liquid smoke flavor or artificial coal infusion. As a bbq lover, I love smoky flavor but this way too much. It was so concentrated that after 2 bites, it made me want to throw up because I felt like I was eating charcoal.
I mean who adds smoky flavor to butter chicken?? Anyways it’s not naturally flavored - I’m 100% sure about that. Worst part was that the Kawan brand Malaysian parotta was half cooked. That ruined the experience for me.
I really wanted to enjoy this place but sadly I won’t be...
