Cool Beans Barbeque and Catering — Restaurant in Bunnell

We booked Keith and Tanya for an outdoor hunting meetup. We'd never tried their food before but read great reviews and they were local to our venue. On a whim we called and can I just say they are awesome!

They keep their word, show up rain or shine, with the smoker already rocking and rolling as they pull up. Keith added a surprise to our menu of Burnt Tips (Brisket) OMG it was Melt in your mouth delicious 😋 All of the food was delicious! Everyone was more than satisfied with the flavor and portions. I brought some brisket, chicken, and Mac to my Daughter who doesn't like bbq and she went to town on their food!

To sum it up... The people are excellent, prices were affordable, and the food was off the charts good! 15/10 HIGHLY...

I dont like giving bad reviews to small business at all because im a big supporter of small businesses. I would like to say its more of a critique so they can improve their product. I had the brisket and cole slaw. The brisket was very chewy and if it was smoked longer im sure it would be a lot tender. It was also lacking in flavor, not much dry rub/seasoning. The cole slaw was okay, but was too creamy for me, i guess some people may like a very creamy cole slaw, i usually like a light dressing. I got the 4 meat sampler the only thing that was good was the chicken. The sauces they have taste weird. I have tried just about every bbq place in central Florida and briskys in st augustine is still the best. I would urge cool beans to go try them so they see what real bbq looks and tastes like. Sorry to be so blunt the owners seem nice but this is not real bbq. I don't know why they put chunks of tomato in the pulled pork. The brisket was both moist and tough at the same time.
