Brothers Coffee LA — Restaurant in Burbank

Coffee was okay, and service could have been better. We got the cookie butter latte and the brownie brittle latte and the brownie brittle latte was definitely better. My issue with the cookie butter latte was the massive chunks of cookie butter I kept inhaling through the straw and the overall latte was gritty.. overall I just think there are coffee places that stand out a bit more. I also think if they had more staff this place would function a bit better. With only 2 people on a Saturday morning the wait did get a bit long (which is okay, we have nowhere to be and I’ve been in that situation with a line out the door) but I could tell they needed more help and some guests were getting impatient. The staff was also not particularly the nicest, but not outright rude either. The shop itself is very cute and well done for the space they have. No bathroom. Sorry, for me a coffee shop without a bathroom is no bueno, very bad idea. Brought my own mug, barista made a point of saying they could not fill it directly, and then carelessly poured the coffee from a paper cup into mine, so zero crema. For five bucks? Sheesh. Other places they just wash it themselves to comply with whatever health regulations and I still get A-plus crema. Seems like folks come here for all the matcha yada yada, and not the coffee. I only leave reviews if a place is exceptional, and this place is exceptional! It seems like a genuine family business, where my strawberry cream top matcha was hand whisked for a sincere personal touch.
