Interesting, elegant, weird, sophisticated, hyper local, extremely diverse, all-inclusive, and absolute non-stop fun. A much needed experience for anyone. Guildhall has quickly become one of my new favorite spots, and one visit is all it takes to see this. From the moment you walk in the door any one of the amazing Guildhall team immediately makes you feel welcome and invited. The atmosphere of an upscale bar with the attitude of a gamers' den is just the beginning of what you'll feel during your visit. All of the TV's are playing Esports from Twitch (forgive me as I've just learned about this tonight!) and just around the corner from the bar/kitchen area is a large wall shelf filled with almost any board game you could want. I've posted a photo of this beauty below. The atmosphere is one you don't want to leave and it'll keep you coming back time and time again. Even though that in and of itself is enough to warrant a 5 star review, the food and menu deserves a separate 5 star review as well. The kitchen has been consistent each time I've been here in both haste and quality. You know exactly what you're getting and you can actually expect it to be like that the next time you order it. The menu, while simple, is not so simple in taste and quality. The chicken tenders aren't like any I've ever had and I've found myself craving them already. I know, but just wait until you try them... The ultra juicy chicken "strips" are covered with a DELICIOUS house made mixture of finely ground corn tortilla chips and dry buffalo seasoning and then deep fried to provide an incredibly delightful crunch full of flavor and kick that makes you want another bite before you've even finished the one you just took. Everything I've tried here has given me an experience that I've truly enjoyed. All in all, come here. Eat. Play. Watch. Enjoy. I've found my new spot, so if you see me here, say hello! I need to get back to my chicken strips now...

This is a very popular taco restaurant. I was in the area so I decided to get some tacos. The place itself is simplistic with artwork and a lovely mural on the wall. Open kitchen. The service is good, but not always lively. At times the energy of the staff is low. I ordered the steak piccata tacos and a Armondo Palmetto. Same take of the Arnold Palmer drink. These tacos are yummy. So much flavor. The drink is great too! Overall this place hits the spot. I gave it a four star, because the restaurant was an ice box when it was cold out and the energy of the staff. Definitely recommend the shrimp tacos too! Buen provecho!!!

Pros *Super fun board/social games with screens for video games too *Outlets in the corners *Very nice single stall family restrooms with an outlet *Food appeared good, heard it was, but I didn't order anything, tried my friend's chips *Water jug for self serving, perfect for my canister bottle (Thermoflask) *Staff appeared to be hustling and working hard to serve everyone at the bar Cons Pricey: $8 soup, $14 mac n cheese bowl Tiny venue Small lot in back, not sure how many spots are for customers, not marked clearly, but street parking is possible late night

Guildhall boasts the title of being the first of its kind in the area, and the place is downright magical. They have an entire cupboard filled with boardgames ranging from classics like Jenga and Risk to more exciting titles like Exploding Kittens and King of Tokyo which are available for you to play with friends. The big niche is that they're an Esports bar, so all the beautiful flat screen tvs placed throughout the establishment are streaming various games, they're all muted so you miss out on the commentary, but the fantastic bar music (they play various movie and game scores) more than makes up for it.

The atmosphere by itself is great, but the real treasure is the Guildhall food and drink. The beer taps aren't your usual boring Guinness, Angry Orchard, Shock Top, etc... instead you have a selection of Craftsman, Verdugo West, Golden State, Eagle Rock, Artifex, Brewery Rex and El Segundo. The latter which crafted a signature beer for the bar by the name of Creep Wave--which is an absolute must try--it's the White Dog IPA with guava puree and pineapple juice, and it tastes like all the goodness of summer in your mouth. Guildhall also boasts it's own signature cocktails, with fun names like The Doom and Tonberry that just add an extra twinkle of joy to the whole experience.

The food here deserves an entire essay meticulously detailing every plate that their chef has so magnificently crafted, but I'll try to keep it brief. They deal in classic pub fare with an elevated twist, but believe you me when I say that this twist makes all the difference. They have potato chips made in house that you'll order once and never be able to bite into another chip without craving the perfected crunch and flavor profile that each Guildhall potato chip has. They currently come in 3 different seasoning flavors and there's two equally amazing dips you can order to go along with them--I recommend the buffalo seasoning with the habanero dip to start the party in your mouth off right. As for main course food, you cannot go wrong ordering either the chicken strips or the signature burger, the Guildhall Juicy Lucy. The Juicy Lucy is hands down my favorite thing on the menu, as it's the perfectly crafted burger to go with those potato chips I mentioned earlier, but it's those chicken strips that deserve further explanation. They aren't your standard "large chicken nugget" instead of the traditional bread crumb coating, these strips are coated in tortilla chips, and it's a complete game changer. The crunchy exterior gives way to expose the soft and juicy white meat for an experience that the traditional bread crumb coating just cannot compete with--and it's gluten free!

I have nothing but good things to say about this place, they replaced The Office Bar and Grill, and turned the place into a complete nerd haven. Guildhall is the place to be in Burbank, and I'm looking forward to many...

Hard to review a place when you haven't actually ordered anything there but this has been my experience to date.

I was excited when I learned The Office Bar & Grill had vacated the location. The Office ,walking distance from my home, started with such promise and the near the end it was obvious the owner didnt care. It was understaffed and most of the tap selections were unavailable going into the weekend. A new watering hole with decent would mean I was no longer relegated to going to inconsistent and usually bad service at The Hollywood Way.

Fast forward. Walking by we saw a TV on, opened the door to be told It was a private party, the official opening was July 28. Fair enough. Having had the rare Monday afternoon off, wanting a late lunch, we walked to the GH. The door was open and while we were reading the hand written note informing prospective patrons of limited hours and a 5pm opening, the door was unceremoniously pulled closed and locked.

Not cool but perhaps this was done by some hired laborer, giving the benefit of the doubt here.

Tonight the GH was open and as we seated ourselves, anxious to try the exemplary comfort food touted by one review. We were promptly handed drink menus. Food menus were not forth coming due to the fact the chef had "been working hard and needed time off". Odd, open 4 days of limited hours and the chef is over worked?

Coming mainly to eat, we left to seek food elsewhere.

A prior reviewer described GH as magical. Perhaps this is due to their having an imaginary chef. A quick check of the internet shows that just yesterday they were seeking to hire cooks.

Everyone understands new businesses have opening snafus. Just say you are having staffing issues.

As far as other critiques noting this as a one of a kind place due to their supply of board games, sorry but Tony's Darts Away beat them to it and with a far superior tap list.

My sincere hope is GH overcomes their opening jitters. The tap list, while not extensive or exotic, has a couple of palatable offerings and I hope to sample some comfort foods within walking distance in the...

to the world of Burbank and to the world of southern CA, esp. the north Hollywood and sectors closeby: there are very few things that we need in life... and interestingly and most wonderfully guildhall provides/supplies/enables these basic needs/desires of modern men/women to be fulfilled... food, and pleasure are the main experiences to be had at guildhall... you will most likely be met at the front by mr Volvo (that Scandanavian look does it for me every time)... and a couple of his crew... we just sit back and chilled... I am a teetotaler and had about 5 Shirley temples... so it's not even for the drinking and wildest that we were there... it was more for the comraderie, and the feeling this spot gives to those who need to belong somewhere... to one self professed nerd to another... it's just simply "home"... a comfortable spot with great grub, great spirits, and amazing streaming videos... to not complicate the situation too much... all I have to say is... stop by... say hi to mr. Volvo, and make sure u have at least one or two of the magic cashews left by a most peculiar and eccentric lad... to all a safe and enjoyable stopover at the guildhall... blessings and mucho amor ;) yes "d"epeche and "m"ode, that is a reference to ur scandalous yet interesting situation we all witnessed the other day.. phuk me... cuz I missed the trading of stats... u know I would have grilled u two out there in plain site... count ur blessings that a certain FKD genuinely and honestly lives most of his time in dirty Jerzee... to all at guildhall... A-coin, B-coin and the evil and wild "cook" "chef" n "multiple pen colored wielding lady"... (6 to be exact, as of yesterday)... ur food kicked butt... I did have a slight protein lacking situation... I'm just glad I'm such a good sport about chicken "sammies" that run out of chicken, due to bad planning, and poor eating technique of yours truly... (that was genuinely a slip and slide effect)... to all, a great and...
