The the Watermelon aqua fresca was good, the location and ambiance was nice but the food was was nothing special. Especially if you know what authentic Italian food tastes like. I ordered the chicken/pesto panni and I could of made some thing better than that at home. The chicken was on the dry side and completely underwhelmed by the panni from the bread to whatever they put in side it. After we ate I was excited to try the cannoli, which took 15 mins for it to come out! After trying it all I can say is STAY AWAY from the cannoli!! I have had cannoli my whole life -- in Italy, in the Bronx and in Brooklyn and the thing they call a cannoli is NOT a cannoli. The texture of their filling was completely wrong the filling should have ricotta or at the very least mascarpone and is very rich with either pistachios or chocolate chips inside. The filling at this place tasted like yogurt and had the same consistency, it was AWFUL. I CAN'T imagine the owner is from Italy, if he is he clearly is not checking the quality or tasting the food that is going out. Overall this dinning experience was a disappointment. My dear 'Angelinos' : after living in California for 12 years and tried so many italian restaurants, I can tell you this: YOU MUST TRY this authentic Italian place. Look up the video in the web page and you can find out they use organic products, with real homemade italian taste. AND the best part, you can eat with these extraordinary gourmet taste with very reasonable prices. Find an excuse to stop by. I had 'calamari fritti' perfectly crispy. A bruschetta with the best garlic texture. My husband and I enjoyed a marvelous risotto and pasta from THE SPECIALTY MENU.
