This was my first time staying at Cambria Burbank. Unfortunately I was not impressed and won’t be returning. While the accommodations are new, it lacks rigor for cleanliness and customer service. Front desk staff is not friendly at all. Rooms are not cleaned during the stay so supplies aren’t refreshed like in room coffee and towels. Yet you’re offered the ability to tip for maid staff. Why would I tip for services not provided. Key cards work for all floors in the elevator, zero security. You have to pay for parking daily when the other hotels don’t charge for parking. Limited menu, which is fine except 2 of my 3 days on property the chef didn’t show up. There are no breakfast options walkable nearby unless you eat only donuts and don’t try and eat before 6am. The wines are not good. The couple bright spots for service were the bartenders and my waitress this morning Maia, she was absolutely lovely. Attentive, kind and really good at her job. Read moreWe ordered breakfast on Dec 30th 2024 at 9:27am (3 minutes before cutoff) and we were charged for the breakfast. We understood that some ingredients will not be available but went ahead with ordering. Around 10am we asked if our food was coming out and we were told yes. It was 10:20am and the food was not served and we inquired again and we were told that since we put our order late, it was not served… we were never notified, not given our reimbursement till we asked at 10:20am and the server was reluctant and slow to give us our reimbursement....
Read moreStaying at Cambria, this lounge and restaurant are perfect. Very laidback, with exceptional staff. Jose was bartending and serving. What an asset! Personable, skilled and attentive. Can’t say enough about his service. We ordered drinks (amazingly prepared) and light food. The BLTA was delicious and the sliders were tasty, but somewhat dry. Otherwise, 5 stars all around!! Will definitely stay here next time...
