The venue itself looks fine, but it was our holistic experience and service from the hall that is backing this 1 star review. We attended as guests a few months ago for a family member's wedding. To start, parking is a mess and the staff had blocked the entrance on the main street Glenoaks, and vaguely told us to go around the corner to park. Ok...we had no guidance after waiting on the road blocking a lane of traffic for a few minutes, so we then drove and parked in a nearby parking lot on Naomi St where I saw where the valet was going anyway. My wife (in heels) and I then started walking from a few blocks away...and then the valet had the nerve to ask for my keys after the hassle of what had happened. Never seen this before in the weddings / banquet halls I've been to. The food was generally fine, but there was a meat dish served that smelled vulgar and had a few folks at our table / nearby tables grimacing and frankly was unappetizing. Lastly and most importantly, my mother-in-law almost seriously injured her foot, because the bathroom had a faulty bathroom grille / vent on the floor that she stepped on. Her shoe was also covered in filth from the grille's collapse in the bathroom...yet the worst part was that not only was anyone from the staff or management was sympathetic to her foot pain or shoe's damage. The malfunctioned grille was completely dangerous, and even required the bathroom attendant to take the grille off of her shoe. To try and resolve this, she reached out to the manager at the hall with photos of the shoe's damage and reached out to the owner, who refused to acknowledge the damage of her shoe or offer any resolution. Her shoes were very expensive shoe (in the range of $1,000+ - see photos attached), and they just told her to "take it a body shop" in a condescending manner. Until today, they haven't reached backed out to her. Overall disappointing and unacceptable behavior.

We had our wedding reception here two days ago and WOW! From the planning process to the day of, everything was amazing. The venue is beautiful, elegant, and extravagant even without any decor. They have very classy gold tables and chairs that will instantly elevate your event. They also have a video wall and a light show available for use during dancing for the reception. We had cocktail hour in the grand foyer and it was absolutely gorgeous. They even put out tables and chairs near the fountain in the courtyard for an outdoor space for both cocktail and reception. Not to mention, red carpet for all guests to feel like royalty walking into the hall. The food is absolutely amazing. ALL of my guests have been talking about it for days. The quality is unmatched and the quantity is insane. Food just kept coming out and everything was so exquisite. Johnny, the manager, has revamped the menu and really upgraded each dish to perfection. Johnny and Ashot, the managers, made sure we were satisfied with everything from start to finish. They put so much time and effort to make sure our day was spectacular. Any requests we had, they made it happen. It’s very rare to find genuinely nice people who care about your event and needs rather than just caring about money. I would 1000% recommend this venue to everyone for any event— wedding, birthday, engagement, they can do it all. A huge thank you to Johnny and Ash and everyone behind the scenes (cooks, waiters, etc). Our wedding was a fairytale and we couldn’t have done it without you. I wish I had more pictures to share but I’ll definitely update my review once I get some.

Where do I even begin?! Talk about accommodation. Everyone here was so great and their primary goal was to make sure we were happy with everything. The food was delicious which was such a relief because banquet hall food can be tricky but our guests LOVED IT. The service was top tier, so thoughtful, nothing went unnoticed by the staff here. The tables were so pretty and the space was so comfortable, we were able to accommodate a large wedding and everyone felt so at ease, the dance floor was perfect!! Ashot worked with us day after day to make sure we were happy with every last detail and I cant thank him enough . Hovik was fantastic, great demeanor a true expert at his craft! Truly it was a dream working with them two and having the opportunity to enjoy our wedding at this beautiful establishment. When your venue and vendors are an absolute breeze to work with your wedding day is just that much more magical! Ashot and Hovik I appreciate you more than you know!!

I recently attended my brother-in-law's wedding at Kalaydjian Banquet Hall and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff, led by the exceptional manager, Ashot, greeted us warmly, making us feel right at home. Ashot's attention to detail and dedication to ensuring every aspect of the event ran smoothly was truly commendable. Thank you Ashot!

The accommodations were top-notch, with ample space for guests and convenient facilities. The food was simply delicious, with a diverse menu that catered to various tastes. Each dish was prepared with love and served with care, adding to the joyous atmosphere of the celebration. The friendly staff, under Ashot's guidance, ensured that everyone's needs were met, making the entire event seamless and enjoyable.

Overall, Kalaydjian Banquet Hall, with Ashot at the helm, provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable wedding celebration. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a venue that combines tasty food, friendly staff, and convenience for their...
