Carnitas Mr. Porky Taqueria — Restaurant in Burien

I’ve visited this place many times and have consistently spent around $100 per visit. Unfortunately, the customer service has been disappointing. The staff often come across as unwelcoming and disrespectful, especially at the front counter. I believe the cashier’s name is Isabella, she was particularly rude during my most recent visit. After I paid for my order, they got it wrong, and when I asked for it to be corrected, I was told they couldn’t fix or refund it. That’s unacceptable if a mistake is made, it should be corrected. When I raised my concern, Isabella, who claimed to be the manager, responded with inappropriate language and ended up asking me to leave, despite the fact that I had just spent over $100. As a business owner myself, I was shocked by how poorly customers can be treated here. Sadly, it seems some people still run their businesses this way. I recommend being cautious with your money. There are plenty of amazing food trucks out there where the staff treat you with kindness and respect and they truly care about their customers Overall their costumer service...

We had a delicious meal at Mr. Porky! We have been watching the development of this place for a while and we’re excited to see when the big sign changed and the exterior was renovated. Inside, the dining room is spacious and clean. The food is on display for guests to be able to see what is available and while they currently don’t have printed menus, they can tell you what is available and help you put together the perfect dinner. I highly recommend the Carnitas tacos as the delicious and pillow soft corn tortillas are handmade. The Carnitas are tender and the salsa bar is full of delicious sauces that will add to the great flavor. We also had the rice and beans and the sticky sweet, sweet potatoes. They also have fresh beverages like Horchata and Jamaica. The parking was very easy here and we look forward to coming back to try the breakfasts that they are known for....

The servers are still finding their feet, but that's the case for any new restaurant. They give a tour of the kitchen when you enter, and the love for what they are serving leaves this infectious feeling that you are definitely going enjoy the food. And you will enjoy the food.
