Today I went to dairy queen today with my wife to have a ice cream night. They got my order correct until I tried to order a 1/8th pound patty for my puppy. They charged me 2.79 for a whole hamburger, then the team lead says this is how they do it, they don't have the option to select a substitute. I have worked in fast food for the last 3 years and understand that that is just bull. They could have refunded our money and gave us a free burger but the best she could do is to have us call the manager on his personal cell....? What? No I am not supposed to have the managers personal number. That is an invasion of privacy. This restaurant needs to get new management or get better training in this company. Every time I have went there never had a big issue until now.
01/08/2020 I ordered the fish sandwich and let me tell you it sucked. This company needs to stop hiring teenagers that don't care about working, They put rotten lettuce on my sandwich and triple amount of tarter sauce. Read morelocal from around here. they mess up our order more than they get it right. we once used the app since i received advertising that it would benefit to order online. when we got to the store to pick up our order it said to call when we arrived. the kid on the phone said that they didn’t do online orders and that it was canceled. i asked what we could do and he said idk and sat there in silence. so i then said we will just walk inside and order. once we got home with the order i looked at my bank app and i had been charged twice. another time we ordered dipped cones. they gave us plain chocolate cones, and then we asked about them being dipped and the kid shrugged his shoulders and said i don’t know. he then “read” the receipt to us and said it only listed 2 small cones. he proceeded to tell us that he didn’t take our order so he just didn’t know. he handed us the receipt and shut the window. as we drove off i read the receipt and it said 2 dipped cones. (which cost more). this is just two of the many instances and mistakes that could have been easily fixed, just shrugged...
Read moreI have been there 3 times in about the past 3 months or maybe long. I got to say I am not impressed being someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for almost 10 years. First, in all three times I was there, there was only 1 employee i saw wearing gloves. The other two time no one was wearing gloves when handling peoples food. I mentioned something about it the second time i was there and the young lady at the window said, "Our boss does not require use to wear gloves. If he did, more of us would wear them." She said that after I watch a dude put his not gloved hands all over the banana split I ordered. I saw people handle money, take credit cards, run the PSO terminal and handle peoples food without even washing or sterilizing their hands. Its a total disregard to customer health and safety and personal pride it the owners business. Secondly, there was no perceived management there.
