So we went to this place because others in our group were raving about it. Iâm guessing something has changed because I still cannot believe how much I spent on almost inedible food.
THE FOOD:
I love prime rib, I get it at a lot of different places. I wish I wouldâve taken a photo of the prime rib, it looked like it was cut and then sat in an oven and it continued to Cook. It was a grayish/pink, not how a prime rib should look.
My wife, got a steak, and she is a steak lover, she couldnât even finish 1/4 of it. She ordered it medium, and it came out rare, but the outside was burnt. I tasted a piece and all you could taste was burnt.
The salad was old. The tatertots were over cooked.
I can honestly say Iâve had better food at a truck stop! AND THIS PLACE CLAIMS TO BE A STEAK HOUSE!!
A different person in our group got the Trout. We asked him how it was and he said âitâs closer to jerky than anythingââŚ. Thatâs all you need to know about this place.
SERVICE: From the moment we got there I got the impression that we were âinconveniencingâ them. The place was DEAD, there was two other small groups there, so it wasnât like they were overwhelmed by customers.
Watch out for their UPSALES. They would offer things like âdo you want the house salad or go make your own at the salad bar?â But they donât say it costs an extra $4 to go to the salad bar.
My wife ordered a side of mashed potatoes and the waitress said âdo you want the bacon, cheese and sour cream on those?â My wife said yes, thinking thatâs how they came, not that it was an extra $3.
One of the other member in our group had ordered a beer, and wasnât even halfway done with it when the waitress asked âwhat kind of beer did you have again?â And he told her, thinking she was adding it to the bill. Next thing we know she brought him another beer, that he did not ask for, and she brought a beer for another guy that was in the bathroom. Neither one wanted a 2nd beer, but they sure had to pay for it.
I also NEVER got a receipt from them, she didnât offer any type of receipt, or breakdown for my $90 worth of food that went into the garbage.
When we went to leave there was no âthanks, come on backâ the girl sat there with her arms folded like we somehow offended her.
The ONLY redeeming quality is the building and view. But I can get the same view and better food from the taco truck down the street.
In conclusion, avoid this place like the plague unless you like overpaying for inedible food, and crappy service.
I shouldâve known a place that advertises a âtwo bite guaranteeâ and not an actual âif our food sucks we wonât charge youâ guarantee.
I will not be back and will preach from the mountain tops about my horrible meal from this so called âsteak houseâ. It should change its name to...
Read moreWent to this steakhouse for my birthday dinner. The booths were nice and our server Trisha was very pleasant. We got mussels and ahi tuna for starter. Mussels were dry and tough, the tuna was great. Asked for a sparkling wine and I received a Moscato. Where we were seated we could hear the expoditer on the food line. We had placed an order for rare steaks before a table of 10 had placed their order. That table got their food first. When the server went to check on our food the expo stated that our food had been sitting there because they weren't sure if they should send it out (hot food always goes out first in good restaurants and especially when you're spending 50 dollars on a steak). The food arrived, the New York strip looked great and the prime cut rib eye was very skinny and fatty. Both meals were very cold. Given all the circumstances I asked to speak to the manager, which isn't something I normally do. The man who was managing that night came over with a very unwelcoming attitude and did not introduce himself so I do not know his name. After explaining everything that had happened to him he just blankly looked at me and asked what he should do about it. Good management is usually authenticly apologetic and offers solutions. I asked him for just hot food. He brought out a a semi warm potato first and said that he just wanted to make sure I got hot food as it came out. A good restaurant knows how to time their food so everything comes together. The steak came out hot and he asked me to cut into it to make sure the cook was right, which is great, and it was cooked correct. The steak was still skinny and fatty and I would not recommend this as a good buy for the cost. He never came back to check in but our server did and she did great. Got a free dessert for the birthday, which didn't really want, but we got a strawberry cheesecake which was not great and pretty mushy. Not the best birthday experience and definitely not the best dining experience either. Better management is needed and I hope the owner fixes this accordingly, maybe more training is needed. Don't expect the best hospitality if...

We love Moreys. I brought my wife there for our Anniversary. We arrived approximately 4. We were seated. I was so stoked cause I had saved to take Lorie to dinner with my health issues and medical bills, money is really tight. When our server came up to get our order the Moreys shirt they were we wearing was really dirty. They took our drink order. They brought us our drinks and we ordered Lorie ordered the prime pasta meal, I ordered 16oz prime Rib half of it was to go half was to be brought to the table. I order for my sides 2 bowls of broccoli cheese soup one to go one to bring to the table. I then order a large shrimp cocktail. Lorie went and got her salad at the salad bar. They brought out my broccoli cheese soup. Lorie got seated and I broke up my crackers put them in the bowl of soup, took spoon full and took a bite and the soup was ice cold. So I waited for them to xcome back and they were quite busy. They finally came back with our main course and I let them know that my soup was cold they offered to warm it up. I asked them to just put with my other bowl that I was taking home. Still no shrimp cocktail this is thirty minutes into our meal. After several trys they came over to our table and said they had forgotten about my shrimp cocktail by then I had put my other half of prime Rib in with the half I was taking home. I let them know I still wanted the shrimp cocktail brought to our table. They got our drinks refilled. Then brought the shrimp out after approximately 45 minutes. Usually the shrimp are ice cold these were not. So I asked for a to go box so I could take them home I didn't say anything about the shrimp not being cold. Our tab was 87.00 and we left a 18.00 tip because sometimes it's not the servers fault for various reasons that are out of their control. They were running from table to table. There was 2 folks doing silverware for the evening rush but they were not helping the server i.e refill drinks etc... I wanted you to know because I know the restuarant is your livelihood. We will be back. I gave Moreys 4 Stars. God Bless you and your...
