Americana Cafe — Restaurant in Burlington

I legit never leave a reviews…

First our waitress was the best. I was alone with 3 little kids. She was genuinely one of the kindest and best servers I’ve ever met.

Then one of the back of the house staff came into the dining area to help with cleaning the tables and spot sweeping… this man too was one of most respectful and sincere people I’ve met in a dinning experience…

The continued service was just so refreshing… (made my kids a fresh fruit cup) and then toward the end when I was wrapping up with my beautiful chaos of 3 kids another gentleman who I assume a manager came over and once again I was deeply appreciative of his sincerity…

He asked me a great question and showed me his sincerity…

He said how was everything… I told him absolutely amazing. He then asked “did we earn your business for another time? Can we expect you to be a repeat customer?”

MASTERCLASS…

If more businesses did this… made it their aim to go the extra mile… as our server did. As the back of the house did. As the management did and asked the clients for continued patronage… More businesses would thrive.

The food was much better than my expectation. The whole experience was as first class you can get in a restaurant in a mall next to a bounce house play place for kids…

I assured him I would come back… they gave me no reason not to support him and the team… and they gave me 100 to do so…

But wait there’s more…

As we walked away… everyone said good bye to my kids… and thanked us and wished us a good evening…

But wait again… (infomercial) there’s more!!!

The manager a few mins later tracked me down…

Had my daughters pacifier in a napkin after he cleaned it off… and said… “as a teacher and a father I know the importance of these” we both laughed. And wished each other well once again…

I’m not kidding… NEVER HAVE I FELT MORE VALUED as a customer and it’s because it was ALL GENUINE from a team of beautiful people working towards excellence!

If you happen to get the same group of people I had tonight… I hope your experience is just as meaningful!

If you are like me you rarely go into Holly Hill Mall because there really isn’t much there. But someone recommended Americana Cafe to me so I had to go and check it out. It is definitely worth the trip! The staff was super nice and very efficient. I got a burger and fries. The fries were well seasoned crispy on the outside with a soft interior - in other words perfect. The burger with the honey bourbon aioli was really good. There is a lot of cool movie memorabilia around the cafe that is fun to look at. I really wanted to explore more but didn’t take the time. This place is definitely worth the trip...

What did I come for? These beignets… What did they sell out of? These beignets… This is an indication of yumminess.

Oh my goodness. Worth the wait. The powered sugary goodness. The warmth. Best if eaten hot.

The owner is very nice. I got to observe how she and her team jabs and ribs each other while working.

I like the diner feel of the place.

We are definitely finding out way back here for food.

Edit: they are still here. Still open. Still the best food in the mall! I have had the burger. Yummy. I have had the steak quesadilla. Yummy!
