East Coast Wings + Grill — Restaurant in Burlington

I want to start with saying I called ahead to find out if they had what I wanted to eat(sometimes they run out of my favorite sauce flavor) only reason I come so I wanted to make sure they had what I wanted. Sakina answered the phone professionally and politely. I had questions about a few more items so after she put me on hold to confirm the first thing I asked about, she came back to the phone and confirmed they had my sauce for my wings but then I asked about a dessert and the sweet sauce for the sweet potato fries she found out all that additional information for me and she done so with the same professionalism and with the same respectful attitude. Although it was Friday night and I wasn’t even doing a take out order, she still made sure I was taken care of without hesitation, That made me feel good about coming in. We were greeted at the door by Sakina and Emma who ended up waiting on us. Due to having back surgery Monday , I requested a booth & they helped me get just what I asked for. Bianca a fellow server whom wasn’t waiting on us pre-bussed our table without asking as she walked by and seen we were done with the plates. As well as made sure we got the Lemons I had asked for as she was walking by our table. Full drinks and a clean table are my biggest thing about going out to eat. I never had an empty cup and my table was clean. The key holder Stephanie was full hands in and out of the kitchen all night, I heard her ask different employees multiple times if they were good or needed anything. Stephanie delivered our food and got everything additional requested item(ranch, napkins) in a timely manner. The host and wait staff were busy and Stephanie was equally busy helping all customers. I seen all around TEAM work tonight. Then to top everything off, after having such a great experience, I asked about names of the staff to be able to give a compliment to the manager. I found out that the owner was actually in the restaurant and I could speak to him and the manager. That’s when I found out even our dessert was delivered to the table by the owner Tom himself. I love hard workers and I respect the owners and managers so much more when they are involved not simply ordering others around while empty handed. The entire team tonight was amazing ! If I could give this 0 stars I would. I went there today and it was a disaster. My previous visit was as well but I figured I would give them another try. This time around made me sick to my stomach. I ordered the Martinique wings with medium heat. They came out and had 0 heat whatsoever and also tasted like cardboard. I had ordered 10 bone in wings. I ate one drumstick and one wing leaving 4 drumsticks and 4 flats left. I asked the server, who was very slow and had no idea about anything on the menu, to just bring me normal buffalo wings medium heat. Within 2 minutes she brought me back 8 wings. 4 drumsticks and 4 flats that were in "buffalo" sauce. They were the same wings I sent back!!!! They were dropped in the fryer to wash the sauce off and re-tossed in buffalo!!! The manager insisted he did not do that and offered me new wings and said it would take about 8 minutes. My question is, how could my wings I sent back come back out to the table in 2 minutes, but the new wings you're going to give me take 8 minutes? That is unsanitary and I will be filing a formal complaint to the upper management about this and even the health department. This is disgusting and absolutely horrible customer service. I stopped by here at 2:30pm on a Sunday afternoon in a party of 4. We were sat promptly. A waitress came over about a minute after we were seated. She, unfortunately, didn’t introduce herself, which is a pet peeve of mine.

We placed drink orders, mostly water. The food order was placed at 2:42pm. I got the cowboy burger and fries. My son got grilled cheese and fries. The other parties got a cheeseburger kids meal and some wings.

Around 2:50pm, I got some sweet tea. It was disgusting!!! Horrible going down and even worse after taste!!!! I got a lemonade instead. It wasn’t very sweet but it was a hell of a lot better than the tea!

The food came at 3:09pm. The fries were a decent temperature. I wish there were a little more seasoning on them though. My burger could’ve been hotter, but It was tasty tho! Very thick with two large onion rings!

I got bbq sauce to dip my fries and burger in, which was tasty. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. I know my son did for sure, lol.
