Updated 12/11/2020.....I wanted to update this review since the my last visit. I have visited the establishment 3 separate times and I will say thank you to management for making the necessary changes needed to make sure your customers are as safe as possible during this pandemic. There is a sign now visibly placed on the door and no one on either visit was walking in without mask to pick up there food. I had friends visiting from out of town and also visited with them and didn't experience anything like prior when I made my first review. The food as always is absolutely delicious. Thank you for making it comfortable to be able to enjoy again. .............
I'm going to say this. The food is absolutely amazing the servers were polite. Everyone wore mask except the people walking in getting there food. Then there's people standing inside the small space with mask on waiting. The point of wearing a mask means everyone including the people picking up there food order must wear one. A space that small it makes it even more important to make sure not only your staff but the people coming in are as safe as they can be. The food prep is literally on the other side of the wall where people are walking in.
There's no sign on the door saying mask must be worn and not one person said to anyone walking in without one to put a mask on. I waited outside for my order as I was not comfortable. If I hadn't already ordered my food online and paid for it I would literally have cancelled the order. This needs to be addressed as someone who lives in the neighborhood and wants to support the businesses there I simply can not under those circumstances.
This needs to be addressed and doesn't matter if we're in a urban neighborhood everyone should be wearing a mask coming in and out of that establishment.
**Update to the Owner. I first would like to thank you for your response. I understand you feel that a conversation with a manger would have resolved my issue. I think a bit differently as a reviewer of not just your establishment but others as well. Its reality that with customers you sometimes don't get that second chance. The quality of an establishment and safety of your customers as well as staff is and should always be first and foremost because in a nutshell you only get one chance to make a First Impression. Someone should not have to post or to talk directly to a business owner about CDC safety guidelines that have been in place for over 7 months. You have a responsibility to adhere and enforce and that should be the first thought before even opening your doors to the public.
My review is to inform and warn customers, who like me take the time to follow the guidelines to try and remain as safe as possible from the ongoing Covid pandemic. Its a reason why I started with the food and service was amazing because it is!!! however that all goes down the drain when you can't serve that great food with the safety of your customers and staff in mind. You can't 100% agree with me and then at the same time tell me that I should have contacted a manager. I did the responsible thing of letting the public know so they can choose to deal with haphazard safety or not.
In all fairness maybe the 1 star review was a bit harsh however it does what it is intended and that is to get your attention as a business owner to practices in your establishment that need to change!!! From the moment someone walks to the front door of your restaurant they should know that a Mask Policy is enforced and you will be turned away if you can't comply. It should not be so relaxed that anyone can come in there with people who are taking precautions and not be in compliance. There should be no reason why a group of people would have to wait in a small space while waiting for food. You have the ability to adjust your day to day business model to accommodate and provide a safe environment for the staff that work for you and the customers...
Read moreI would love to order food from here but there is no consistency with the prices. There are two very different menus. I really was looking forward to order. But I am so confused by not being able to call to order. The menu on the online prices is all higher. Almost everything is an additional fee. Trying to order Grilled Cheese on the menu that lists different cheeses - online it only allows one. No consistency. I really hope this is fixed because I was really wanting to order.

The order online (toasttab) has different prices from what's listed on your webpage menu. Some added costs are not matching up with what's on the menu. Maybe ToastTab is the most updated but when looking on your page, that's what I went by. (This was not on DoorDash, Gruhhub or UberEats as this was going to be Pick Up due to the Mills St being closed due to COVID.)
In regards to reaching out to you - I tried. I called to ask about the pricing and got an automated message asking if I wanted to order, I said yes and it sent me a text message instead stating to order online. It left me in a loop with the unsure prices. I am not a person that likes giving bad reviews. I also sent a message through your chat, which I'm sure is almost impossible to look at during working hours. (I tried the chat first, then the call. I'll say this again, I tried to get a hold of someone.)
Maybe the automated system could have gave more options instead of one question. Maybe I needed to call more than once. Regardless. I am not a person that likes to trash small businesses. The problem had nothing to do with being a small business. And if I do have an issue, either I let it go or I speak to the business, small or big. I gave this review because I think your system is faulty. I very much wanted to order your food. I was willing to drive more than 20 minutes away, just to be able to enjoy your food.
I don't want to leave a 1 star review for ANYONE. Least of all a small business. I appreciate everything that you are having to deal with with COVID. The review happened because I couldn't communicate with anyone. I very much would like to change the star. I do NOT want to hurt your business in anyway. And to prove to you, I do not want to hurt your business, I'll change my star rating because you reached out to me. However I would like to state - not every person who leaves a review is trying to hurt your business. I'm stating there is a problem....
Read moreGood luck with ordering from here. It's dicey if they'll fulfill your entire order. From small items to entire dinners! Not the fault of the dashers (as I've placed my orders through Doordash) but the establishment. They've acknowledged its their mess up. However, their solution was not customer friendly and it seemed she couldn't be bothered by it, as if we're annoying them.
updated review on Doordash that was once 5 stars is now 0 Ordering/take out: Absolutely love(d) BUNOS. We order(ed) from them often. Lately, however, things have changed. Missing items, ingredients, but nothing too big or anything major. I typically never even complained to even get credit for those things cause why sweat the small stuff? The food is always still good! However, this last Doordash will be my last BUNOS experience. One in which I dont even eat their food. Lol. As a family of 9, we often stroll high street and eat dinner together outside at bunos when the weather is nice. We order ALL the time from my Doordash and his. I've taken kids for one on one breakfast with mom. We even ordered weekend breakfast 2 weeks ago and were planning on making it a monthly thing. This is how much we love their food!! For over a year we've been avid patrons. This order had an entire meal missing. It was a small order. 3 things. 1 being dessert. I fell today and couldn't cook but the kids had frozen pizza. (My back up in case of emergency stash) We decided to order dinner for ourselves, as it's been a really bad day. I was STARVING when I ordered. After getting comfortable (back injury from the fall) we opened the bag and realized my entire meal was missing! We called Bunos and they admitted and realized their mistake. Their solution was to just get my money back from Doordash. We questioned them, why is that a valid solution? I just don't eat? or have to pay extra fees and tip to reorder? No option to come pick it up instead of being refunded? Absolutely ridiculous that this is your solution, honestly. If it was one tiny item, it's understandable. This is an entire meal. The person who answered seemed annoyed and totally unsympathetic to the situation.
