Leonardo's Pizza — Restaurant in Burlington

We have ordered from this place two times now. The first time we had a 50% off coupon because we just moved into town, so that was very reasonably priced. However, the next time we ordered from them the price for two large vegan pizzas was $65 — that didn’t include a tip. Arguably vegan pizzas are cheaper because they contain less expensive ingredients. We would tip at least $10, bringing our bill to $75. When did two large pizzas rise in price to $75? That’s outrageous! Their pizza is delicious, and they have a lot of untraditional options. They give you the option to customize which only makes the pizza more expensive. They also give you an option of “light, regular, or extra” for toppings. We ordered light on everything but it didn’t lower the price, but adding extra does. It makes no sense. We would love to keep supporting a local business but not at that cost. Mind you, that was just for the two pizzas. No salads, sides, or drinks. They have an app and rewards, but they don’t store your history so you can’t see what you paid before. And their rewards is $10 off after you’ve spent $100. So, essentially the tip. No thanks. Ordered a pizza, wings and garlic bread online without issue. Said it would be ready in 30 minutes. We arrived in 40 minutes and called to let them know we were there for pick up. There was 6 other people in line with us outside and multiple cars waiting for food. The gentleman in front of us waited an hour and 45 minutes for his food, we waited an hour and half. During this time a guy in his car requested a refund after waiting so long and had to call 4 different times to get his refund. The girl running the phones hung up on him twice. We were told on 2 different occasions that the food would be right out along with all the others waiting in line. Only after I spoke up did our food appear at the window. Pizzas were flying out but only going to delivery while everyone waited over an hour outside for their food without even an apology from the staff. Ordered a half and half pizza online last night. It didn't list the types of cheese they use in their 4 cheese blend. Figured it would be like most other 4 cheese blends so we got that for the all cheese side of our pizza and regular cheese and pepperoni on the other half. The pepperoni side was delicious but the cheese side tasted funny. All my fiance was craving was an extra cheese pizza. We endured it until my fiance took a bite and nearly threw up from instant stomach turn. Come to find out that one of the cheeses they use in their 4 cheese blend is gorgonzola, which if you don't know what that is, its bleu cheese. Why anyone in their right mind would put gorgonzola in a cheese blend is beyond me. I know I'll think twice when I order from there again. Definitely nothing I don't know...
