My wife and I stopped in here for lunch with our young granddaughter. It was our first visit. The place is quite large with a lot of seating. It also has several banquet rooms. There were very few people there at the time of our visit due to the time of day, so we pretty much had our choice of where to sit
The way it works is that you order at the cashier when you enter and pay when you order. You then bring a number to your table, and they bring your food to you. I had a grilled chicken salad. My wife had a Reuben sandwich. Both were delicious, but I'm getting the sandwich next time 😁.
Our granddaughter is only 15 months old, so my wife gave her some of the sandwich. The server brought out multiple packages of crackers for our granddaughter as well, which was really appreciated.
The food was prepared very well. If the service was exceptional and we were well taken care of. It's not the cheapest place, though. Our 2 meals and drinks (soda) cost around $45 after all was said and done. However, we were happy to pay the price, and the meal and experience...
Read morePlace was really beautiful on the inside and waitstaff was friendly. We made a reservation months ago and asked for a window seat, but we were still seated in a room with no windows (despite the fact that we were the first people in the restaurant at 5pm). The hostess literally laughed at us when we asked to change our seat.
Besides that, the food looks wayyyyy better than it tastes. The charcuterie was good but Brussels sprouts were raw and tasted like a bottle of super salty/sweet store-bought dressing was poured on top. My family ordered 4 entrees- salmon, duck, and surf & turf. All were very bland. My duck said it came with fried rice on the menu but actually came with some sort of super sweet pilaf. I’m not sure if they’ve ever seen fried rice before.
Anyway, this was supposed to be a beautiful celebratory dinner with my family but instead it was a $300 total disappointment. The food is way way way too expensive for how bland it is. What food did have taste was extremely salty and sweet and artificial tasting. Take your...
Read moreWe went on a Friday evening and there was live music playing, which was really lovely for the atmosphere of the restaurant. The service was amazing, fast, friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about their menu items. The herbs the use come from their garden outside and the beef comes from local farms. We got the featured appetizer: Fried green tomatoes with mozzarella and balsamic glaze, paired with a black eyed pea salsa. For dinner I got the chicken and waffles, my husband got the shrimp and grits. Then for dessert we tried all three items, the chocolate cake, pecan pie and key lime pie. The food was delicious. Everything we ate blew us away. The chefs in the kitchen truly understand their flavors and how to beautifully balance and plate a meal. I highly recommend this place. We...
