I got the Shawarma chicken over “fancy rice” and a small hummus with a lafa and it was all right. The chicken did not seem fresh (I showed up just after they opened and seeing how they’re closed on Tuesdays and I went there on a Wednesday. I don’t know how the chicken would be old) and was generally not super flavorful. Also, the serving size was all right, just don’t expect a ton of food tho. The lafa was pretty soft and could definitely use more time on the grill and the hummus was fine but the olive oil to hummus ratio was a little crazy. I got a side container of zhug and it was tasty
The part I liked the most was the bottle of ‘savouré’. I have never seen this product before but it was quite tasty. I got the cherry, fennel, apple flavor soda.
I don’t see myself going back, but maybe if you get some of the other options, you may have a better experience
I’m being picky but for a place that considers itself to be middle eastern I’m not sure where they get off I would rate this place a three out of five stars, but I also don’t think I’ve had enough experience there to give it a fair rating. Also, the place is new and hopefully they...

Look, they just opened: their take out lobby is small, their menu is fixed and simple, it's a tad pricey, and the wait time for food was a long-ish turnaround.
But that's okay. They're a business that's just getting up and running, and figuring things out (on the go, likely).
But the food is AMAZING.
My girlfriend is Lebanese and she said this food reminded her of how her mom makes it back home, and I don't think you can get more authentic than that.
I'm sure the kinks in the business will be worked out as they're figured out. For now, I'm gonna keep enjoying my Fatayer and Fattoush.
We are looking forward to returning and seeing how this...
Read moreI had the honor of trying wise fool tonight. I’ve been noticing the corner restaurant for the past couple days now and have been so intrigued by what may lay inside. The menu was small, but mighty, and everything truly packed a punch. I basically tried one of almost everything: the Shawarma, the loaded fries, the salad, the falafel, and even bought a T-shirt. While, the prices were slightly higher than I’d love, I do understand that this is Burlington and that’s just kind of something you have to accept living here. The food was fantastic and the loaded fries are gonna be part of my future very soon . I hope this place...
