Starbucks — Restaurant in Burlington

This unfriendly Starbucks will charge you full price for a refill unless you bought the first cup in their store. Utterly ridiculous. I'd like to think that this is a short-sited decision made by the young (25ish) person behind the counter, but I fear it's poor management.

I explained that the app recognizes refill prices as long as you purchased a cup that same day regardless of whether the 1st cup was purchased at that store. She had a prepared statement about the philosophy behind free drip coffee refills for Gold Members. Really? She knows what the founder had in mind, and it's not what the app does?

To add insult to injury, when I told her that I'd pay full price for 2 fresh cups of drip coffee but that I'd never visit their store again, she said "That's fine!"

I asked for a shaken espresso with chocolate. My shaken chocolate espresso had additional sweetener in it (tasted like a nut syrup?) and was too sweet to drink. Extremely disappointed. I waited over 10 minutes for my drink. I asked for a muffin, and was told they were out, but had danishes, so I paid for a danish. They then told me that they actually didn't have danishes, but did have a pumpkin bread. She gave it to me and then said "it costs more, but I won't charge you" as if she was doing me a favor? My toddler was disappointed to not get the snack he asked for, or the 2nd snack he picked. I will likely...

The target Starbucks is the worst.... I've asked them several times to not put water in my chai latte because they make it way too watery and bland. And every time they have put water in it and the chai had no flavor. Ive even tried asking them to put an extra pump of chai.. So, I'll just be getting my chai at the Starbucks on the corner before Target. I hate leaving negative reviews but they clearly don't care about...
