Our experience at First Watch in Burlington NC was fantastic. We had the pleasure to be there for the soft opening. The team was highly attentive and very warm. Everyone was in great spirits, and they seemed like they were proud of the work they were doing together.

We started with million dollar bacon. It was plated very nicely and was delicious. It had quite a kick because of the heavy covering of black pepper - my fave! I loved it, but if you have a sensitive pallet you might think twice.

I had the lemon ricotta pancakes which were delicious. I have never had pancakes so fluffy. They were exceptional! The syrup was served warm which is such a fantastic touch. I ordered a side of bacon and it was great.

My partner ordered the avocado BLT eggs benedict and a side of fruit. The fruit bowl was gorgeous, and a heaping serving for $6. The Benedict was delicious and the portion was great. She commented that she expected more avocado since it was the feature of the dish, but overall she would order it again.

The standard drip coffee was wonderful. You can tell they take that seriously. I also ordered a mint mocha - it was very good, and looked exactly like the picture of it on the table advertisement.

With our extra sides & coffee drink our total was $55. The entrees were between $10-$15, so expect about $20 per person all in.

We will...

Waited a little under an hour...understandable, they are new and busy. Got to our table and ordered our food. I finished my water. Waited for a refill that never came. When our food came it was dropped off but we couldn't eat it because we didn't have silverware. After multiple minutes I got up and went to the host stand to ask for silverware and if they could have our waiter stop at our table. They said they were out if silverware and someone was going to get some. I went back to my table and waited more than 5 minutes. Finally a manager came after a customer told him we asked for silverware and still hadn't received any. I didnt realize the manager brought our table of 4 only 2 forks when he was there I politely asked if he could get me a refill. He was kind enough to bring a pitcher of water. After he dropped the water I realized we still needed 2 forks. I went to the host stand. No one was there to ask for silverware so I went back to my table. Waited a few more minutes and my server came by. I asked for 2 forks and he brought them. By the time I ate was food was room temperature. Wasn't a good first experience. May try and longer down the road when they...

I stopped in here last week for lunch and was immediately impressed with the atmosphere, which boasts a clean, crisp farmhouse aesthetic with lots of white and rustic wood accents. It was only my lunch partner and me, and we were seated at a two-person table with super comfy chairs--a nice touch! I know, I know. But what about the food, right? The food was excellent. I ordered the BLT Benedict because I love hollandaise sauce but hate making it. The eggs were poached to perfection, and the sauce boasted a refreshing zip of lemon. The spring greens were tasty but slightly underdressed, and we ended up requesting additional dressing. The service was excellent, and I love that you can pay using the QR code on the receipt too. It's super convenient. My lunch buddy got the roast beef sandwich, which I also tasted, and it was super yummy too. We both always drink water, and they serve it in this old-school glass milk container with the glasses, so you can keep pouring for yourself. This is such a smart idea because I hate having to wait for a server to notice my glass is empty. Definitely...

I have always loved First Watch and was excited to see a location open in Burlington, NC. I placed my first online order today and, while the food was excellent as always, I did encounter some challenges with the customer service. After placing my order, I realized I would need to pick it up earlier than scheduled. I called the restaurant, but after being placed on hold for 11 minutes, the call was disconnected. I called back and was left on hold for another 43 minutes without any follow-up. Ultimately, I picked up my order at the original time and decided to speak with the manager. While she apologized, the response felt somewhat dismissive, and I left feeling that the customer service side could use improvement. Additionally, my child’s orange juice was missing from the order, which was a disappointment. The food itself was wonderful—consistent with the quality and flavors I’ve come to expect from First Watch. However, I hope the Burlington location provides additional training and support for their staff to ensure that customer service matches the excellence of their food.

Being a new restaurant in Burlington, the wait was long, but the food and service were well worth the wait. From the hostess, to our server, Alejandro, to the other servers and wait staff, everyone was very polite and respectful. Alejandro immediately offered coffee as soon as he greeted us. He was very attentive, yet not overly so. He made sure we knew he was always available to assist. The food arrived quickly, and was very good. For my first visit, I stuck with something basic. I chose the Trifecta. It came with a Belgian waffle, eggs, and sausage. All were very good. I think I'll be more adventurous and take our server's suggestion next time, with the chickenchanga. The kid's menu had lots of options for the little people. We ordered the French Toast, which I had to taste. I was SO good! In all, it was a very pleasant experience, and I can't wait to return.
