I ordered from here one day before work wanting something that was refreshing and that tasted great! I am pregnant with my 2nd child and have been very proactive about eating healthy and limiting my caffeine take to none.. Iāve been nearly 2 months without caffeine. I asked the cashier if the drink I wanted had caffeine in it and she responded saying it did not so I ordered a venti. Later on at work my boss was going on a Starbucks run and offered to get me something so I ordered another Mango Draginfruit Lemonade, Venti. After drinking 2 Ventis I felt like my heart was about to jump out of my chest. My heart rate was 124 resting. I am in my first trimester and miscarriages are common if not careful. I couldnāt figure out why I felt the way I did. I googled if the drinks I ordered at Starbucks had caffeine and it DID. I called and spoke to a manager- Richard who is being transferred to another store. He did what he should have done and essentially made it right. I expressed to him that his team needed to be more informed about whatās in their beverages and if they donāt know the answer to something they shouldnāt answer it. Itās life threatening in some cases.
I wish I could say that I havenāt had issues with this location before, but I have. Mike and Richard are the only 2 people in the establishment who have somewhat of a positive attitude or are approachable, they are the only people who greet customers and you can tell when they are not there. I sent a drink back one time because it didnāt taste how it normally does and I got nothing but an attitude from one of the associates. I should have got her name. Her attitude was simply nasty and Iām pretty sure sheās a manager. The culture isnāt alive in the building and you can certainly tell. Your customers shouldnāt feel like you canāt ask them a question without inconveniencing you. You may not say it but your facial expressions do. I have personally worked in hospitality management before and I understand what jerks people can be most of the time, but I always say thank you and I always leave a tip. Regardless if I had a bad attitude and did leave the tip I should feel like my business is appreciated but I donāt. I spend roughly $50 a week just at this location. Needless to say, I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is by far, HANDS DOWN The very best Starbucks I have ever experienced, and I have visited literally hundreds of Starbucks across the country. Went through the drive-through, this morning, and ordered ordered a tall, extra dry cappuccino and a Grande shaken espresso with whole milk....Yes, this was a two drink Monday morning (I'm a realtor who requires caffeine, lol)... The store has been recently renovated and they are tweaking their new machine, trying to get it just right, so the barista took the time to personally walk my cappuccino over to the drive-through window, explained the machine situation, handed it to me and asked me to check and make sure that the foam was to my liking, since I had ordered it extra dry. Of course, it was perfect, so I paid for my order, drove away, and finished my cappuccino. I started on my shaken espresso and realized that it was a bit too sweet for me to enjoy, so I circled back, parked, and went into the store and explained the situation. The 1st barista was extremely kind and said they'd be happy to fix it. Then, The other barista who was the one who had originally made my drinks overheard the situation and came over and immediately offered to remake the entire drink, which I thought was super sweet but not necessary and I didn't want to waste the orig drink, so I asked if she would just make an extra shot with a little bit of milk to cut the already made drink. She happily did so and even remembered that my drink had whole milk, which was impressive, considering that was 15 minutes ago and probably 2,465 drinks ago. Then, the manager who had overheard, walked over just to check and make sure everything was OK. Also, I might mention that this store always has the cleanest restrooms, well stocked shelves, and cleanest tables and floors of any store I have visited recently. I very rarely write reviews, but this store always has me driving away with a smile because of the friendliness, kindness and and capability of the folks who are obviously happy to work there...I hope lots of people see this and patronize this store and these baristas and staff!
Thank you, Starbucks, at University Dr in Burlington, NC (exit 140 off I 40) !!!!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve had multiple bad experiences with this store . Starting from ordering the bacon egg and cheese sandwich & the bacon still looks completely raw. Order ahead 3 out of 5 times out the week isnāt ready at estimated pick up time , my venti coffee always has a inch and a half from the top of the cup (why pay for more when you donāt get it ) & today Iām behind myself for work & when I get there my order isnāt ready and itās past pick up time . I donāt have time to wait so I asked for my order to be cancelled and I get told to hold on a minute and then the girl comes back and says my drink is on the bar & it wasnāt . Instead of understanding I didnāt have time to wait for them due to them being busy I just needed my money back and to cancel the order , they had me wait & for nothing . At this point Iāll stop spending the minimum of 6.35 5 days out the week and half of those days I get breakfast so itās 12.49 those days . Iām tired of inconsistent product as well as always expected to be understanding of being busy but the store isnāt understanding of my job when I donāt have time to wait on them . Order ahead is used...
