Absolutely blown away by this place! A true hidden gem that blends Chinese and Japanese flavors with style and substance. Read moreThe service is excellent. I bought the spicy chicken with fried rice which was fresh looking & tasting. This was my 1st time eating there and probably my last. I started eating the food which would not have had any flavor if it wasn't for the spicy on the chicken..but it wasn't a flavor type of spicy more like a pepper type of spicy. Also not sure why most of the rice looked white if it were fried. Even if you fried the chicken seperately it should have some color to it if you used any seasoning or atleast the color of the oil/fat you fried it in. So then I realized I didn't pour the teriyaki sauce on it as I had picked up my order to go...not sure if they add the teriyaki sauce to the food when they're cooking it if you're eating there but now the food has the teriyaki flavor and their sauce is sweet. So now it is spicy and sweet and the spicy is a good level not too hot but with out that and the teriyaki sauce it would be as bland as the cabbage or white rice that they had in it. Best part was it was fresh and friendly service but the food was far from Wow or memorable. I'll always remember how fresh it seemed. I was 1 of 3 customers...

For the unfamiliar, Teriyaki Madness is essentially an Asian fusion version of a Chipotle or Five Guys--you build your meal from a list of ingredients, starting with what size bowl, then a protein/sauce, then a rice or noodle, then veggies.
I had the spicy chicken over noodles with carrots and cabbage, and it was delicious! The regular size is plenty of food to fill you up, and the quality was surprisingly good for a quick-serve chain. They also offer appetizer options (egg rolls, edamame, crab rangoon, potstickers), which I'll have to try my next visit. For true enthusiasts, there's even an app for rewards points and ordering ahead. Burlington is a little far for me to go on the regular, but hopefully they open up more locations in...
