I am really in love with the Bridgewater sandwich but had a recent experience which was really annoying. I ordered about 6 sandwiches/plates for my family the other day. It took maybe triple the wait time shown on the app until I received my order. I figured it was worth the wait. When I got home about 20 min away, I found that one of the sandwiches was missing, so we all had to contribute portions of our sandwiches so my dad wasn’t left watching everyone else eat. The portions are pretty small so this was not really ideal for anyone in the group...
I searched online for their phone number but found nothing. Turns out they don’t have one, because they want to focus on what’s important, which is making sandwiches people dream of. But what if the customer did not receive the sandwich they were dreaming of?!
I submitted feedback about my experience and I received an unapologetic reply offering a replacement sandwich on the app which expires in 1 month. They didn’t give the option of a refund, which in my opinion would be the right thing to do, since Clover isn’t exactly right down the street from me. I asked for a refund but did not get a reply back yet. I really talked the place up to my family but was left really irritated. I think that via my feedback they had an opportunity to make it right, but did not...
Read moreAlways has been a favorite place of mine to eat at. Have been coming here for years and even had the pleasure of working here back in 2013 when they first opened. Definitely not a biased review whatsoever because didn't leave on the best terms.
Anyways food is usually on point. I have noticed the quality in the sandwiches seem to be better than when I order them after 3pm. Idk if it's who is working or not, but the afternoon crew seems to make the best sandwiches in my opinion. Usually they aren't messy and don't fall apart on me.
I love brussel sprouts and it really disappointed me how I did not like the sandwich. It was very bland in my opinion. I feel like the sprouts could use a bit more flavor and maybe there is just another ingredient missing from the sandwich to really wow me.
I love most of the other sandwiches though. The seitan has gotten even better over time. The only other sandwiches that disappointed me were the Impossible meatball sandwich and the BLT. I feel like the BLT isn't hearty enough to justify the price. They need to add double the Ingredients because I don't even feel close to full when I order that.
I'd love to see the Pushpir sandwich back soon. That is probably my all time favorite sandwich from them next to the Chickpea fritter. I would get atleast 2 Pushpirs a week when...
Read moreMy whole family loves Clover! We get takeout from here a couple times a month at least, and have for years. I love the rotating, seasonal menu even though it's sometimes hard to see the limited-time sandwiches go. I guess I just have to savor the panelle or the Enzo all the more for their transience :) Don't forget to try out the breakfast options, too - the pesto bowl and popover are my favorites. And they even have simpler sandwich options that appeal to my kiddo. The app ordering is simple and the customer service is always great, even if it can get a bit slow when they're slammed. If there's ever an issue with our order, they're always super quick to comp an item. To top it all off, the climate-friendly approach they take is wholistic with not only an all-vegetarian menu, but also all (commercially) compostable packaging. The whole operation is very thoughtful and intentional. My only complaint is that they've generally stopped offering desserts, and I especially miss the olive oil cake and the whoopie pies. If you see them available,...
