At 730pm Wed Sept 01: Three staff members there: one male on the phone taking orders, one male taking the order for the White male in front of me, and a short girl acting like she was lost. The 2nd staff said something to her after another White male came in, then she finally said I can help the next customer. She saw me waiting but really did not acknowledge me. She wore plastic gloves and I told her I wanted one cookie. She told me $2.50 and I gave her cash and she gave me my change. I watched her as she got my cookie using the same gloves she handled cash!!! ICK!!! Is this your protocol to save on gloves when handling cookies?? I asked her about using the same gloves that she handled cash and she kept the cookie out, then threw the gloves away and put new gloves on. She then took two more cookies out. I told her I only paid for one. As she put the one in a bag, she asked me if I wanted it warmed. I said yes, them she have me a cookie from the top area. Though the cookie was good, I am appalled by her unwillingness to take my order and using same gloves she handled money and handled my cookie and she probably put that cookie bag with the rest!! She needs to be trained both interacting with Minorities especially a...
Read moreSo we saw this place while out for brunch. We decided we would check it out later that evening. We had dinner and followed it up by checking out this neat spot! We have been to a place in Asheville, NC called sunshine Sammies which we absolutely love! So we came to the establishment around 9:45 or so (Close 10 pm) They had begin to put their display cookies away, but welcomed us in.
They said that " We still have cookies" we order two different cookie sandwiches! The presentation of the cookie sandwich was really great! There were maybe 5-6 more people that came into the cookie store as we were leaving. Ice cream was really good, they had so many flavors to choose from and so many cookies to choose from as well.
This was a really neat dessert spot with a really neat name " Cookie Monstah" I would say the cookies are a little firmer than I usually like. But still a really good cookie, not too sweet and the perfect size for a cookie sandwich! We were in town for my Master's Graduation. If you are in Burlington, MA give this...
Read moreOk, here we go. I haven't did this in a while. The Cookie Monstah is the best cookies I have ever eaten in my life. Quite honestly, I find it difficult to drive past the place on the way home because I work near the Burlington location. I know some people loosely say best in their lives for many different mediocre products and services but organizations must earn that vote from me. The Cookie Monstah has done that. Just some points to ponder... The chocolate chunk is my favorite, snickerdoodle and sugar are my honorable mentions. The price is a bit on the high side but it is to be expected from crafted cookies. Also, with such a glowing review I am afraid someone will try to improve on perfection and make an equivalent to the New Coca-Cola. Do yourself a favor Cookie Monstah and don't change a thing. To my readers, do yourself a favor and stop by and try my favorites or try something new, you won't be...
