This place could probably do with a food safety inspection. I've been to this location 3 times now. Every time they aren't busy, yet tables are unwiped, floors are EXTREMELY sticky (i doubt any of the employees are aware of what a mop looks like), filth and food all over the floor, employees seem to be elsewhere mentally. I mean, to help you understand the sheer filth of the floors here, MY SERVICE DOG WON'T EVEN LIE DOWN ON THIS FLOOR because it is so gross and sticky. I took her leash off so it won't get disgusting as I eat. Just had a guy take my order and he forgot to put in half of the order. We weren't even talking fast or quietly and it was a pretty simple order. He completely forgot to add my son's kid's meal, so we then had to order that separately after we pointed out that it was missing. I asked for onion rings instead of fries... yeah, that didn't make it on the order either.
In short: this place would be a nice restaurant if the employees were sentient and the place ever actually got cleaned. Edit: the employee who took our order came out and I see he is wearing CROCS. not non-slip shoes, which i believe is an OSHA violation for food service. I doubt I'll be back again. If I can see filth and violations out here, there's no telling how bad the kitchen is or even the soda...
Read moreI usually have a very good experience when I go to Wendy's but this time it was very stressful. The cashier first, forgot to give me my credit card back. I realized it when I was starting to pull away from the window. I drove around to the entrance of the restaurant and parked my car and went inside to get the card. Next, she got my drink order mixed up. I asked for a diet coke and she gave me a regular coke. It was correct on the recite so either she didn't check the order or she can't read. Last, I asked for a large french fries. Usually, when I go to other fast food restaurants I always check to make sure that the cashier didn't forget a food item. But, since I have never had any problems with Wendy's in the past I didn't check my order. I went home to Fort Madison with my order and when I opened the bag I noticed that I did not have any french fries. I was very upset. The lesson I learned is to always check my order because a lot of employees are not conscientious about their work ethics anymore. It seems that people, in general, want a paycheck but they do not want to work or they want the paycheck with having to do the least amount of work or effort as possible. Nowadays people are...
Read moreMe and my wife previously worked as managers in another location we waited for quite some time. When we did get to the front of the line one employee had just ended shift at 4:08 got her belongings from under the register and just walked away the other cash register operator just ignored us for almost two minutes there was absolutely no acknowledgement not even a I'll be right with you. With that being said the food was great it was not properly dressed according to the Wendys way but the meat was fresh and so were the fries. Rating as a one because the extreme lack of customer service no smiling faces sluggish moving there was no thank you and the greeting was not anything but a lazy one. Doubtful that three different greetings at the lamest were even gonna be used. (the plain basics of customer service) no one was cleaning tables and the cashier the young African american girl was swearing right there in front of...
