I decided to stop for lunch. Part of the dining was closed. I assumed it was more for dinner. The sign on the door said they were looking for help. I can understand why. My choices from the menu were a chicken bacon rach sandwich and loaded fries. The fries came first on a large round plate , enough for 2. The amount of cheese and bacon was perfect. Then the sandwich came on a large oval platter. The small was what I'm used to being a large. Loaded with chicken. I decided on the fried. Just the right amount of lettuce, tomato, onion and ranch. The bread was fresh and soft with a nice crust. The chicken was great. I could tell it was fresh home made crumbs. Just the right amount of spice. I asked my server, who was very nice about the bread snd and chicken. Turns out , twice a day they make their own bread. Than at night they let it sit out to dry to make their own bread crumbs. I will be back to try more items. My only issue was the older tables were sticky. I think finish from time. Not dirty. Just some plastic table covers might help. Otherwise Great! Please like if my review helped you.

Had the chance to grab a cheesesteak here before bowling at Blue Valley one night and made a TikTok video for it. I'd really like to get back sometime and film something on the pizza and some of the other dishes people have raved to me about from here. Grabbed the "Luci's Cheesesteak" as it seemed to be the specialty sandwich on the menu and I was curious. This was a serious sandwich. Hot peppers, onions, lettuce, American, sauce, and garlic mayo. I love all of these things, why wouldn't I love them together?! My initial concern was it would be super messy...which it was. Was it worth the mess? You bet. And the roll (which I believe they make with their pizza dough and bake in house) was sturdy enough to hold up to all of these things that would easily wreck a lesser roll. I'd eat this sandwich again without question, but I do plan on ordering other things next time around to see what else they have that will make my taste buds dance.

I visited this establishment for the first time with my 2 daughters. We ordered a large plain pie and while we were waiting for the pie, the owner, Luciano, made a small Margherita pie and gave my daughter and I a complimentary slice while we waited for our large pie. Luciano and staff were very friendly and I enjoyed talking with them about their restaurant and the history of the restaurant. The Pizza was amazing!! Great crispy crust, sweet savory sauce and plenty of cheese. Definitely one of the best I have had in the area. I will definitely return to try other menu items. Thanks Sal's for a great first experience at your restaurant. I plan to come back soon and order some other menu items.

my family and i have been paying patrons of sals for years now, actually since we moved here. we once had a bad experience, so we stopped going, but today, since me and my friend were so desperate for something quick, we decided to bite the bullet. we attempted to call in an order, but was hung up on by the woman working the phone because she didn’t understand my address, which i spelled out and explained to her multiple times. then, we called back, and was greeted by the same woman and once i told her that i was calling to complete an order that i was hung up on while giving, she handed the phone off to a different man. The man that took my order was kind and respectful, which i appreciated. the food came quickly (all i ordered was a buffalo chicken hero, garlic knots, and corn nuggets at the request of my friend) and we were both excited to dig in. we started with the garlic knots, which we only got five of instead of six, and quickly realized that we needed to add our own garlic because the only flavor was grease. we then moved on to the corn nuggets, which were neither here nor there. then to the buffalo chicken hero. when we first opened it, it was cut in “half” so poorly that we had to recut it to even attempt to split it. we then began to eat it, and realized that the spice was so overpowering that it was barely edible. we are able to take heat, but once it gets to the point where it feels like there isn’t even chicken, only hot sauce, it becomes a problem.

overall, not worth my money and i will not be returning. the delivery guy was pleasant, and so was the man who took my...

I'm a regular... Always dine in... Today I called in for take out while out and about to save some time.. Sat on hold for over nine minutes as we were driving there on our way.. As we entered the parking lot the phone hung up...Huh...Then asked if they could help me I stated that I was on hold for over nine minutes then hung up on...A sorry is all I get..no discount... Millennials... I tell you what if this were the other way around I'd be out of business.. Two stars only because the food is good and has been everytime we've been here...But these kids need to get it together...No Excuses... BTW this can be edited...

Adding to this 07/2021 Friday night and it’s busy. There is a line waiting to be seated. Stood in order of arrival. 10mins or so go by. A couple walks in and seats themselves like they own the place ahead of 3 couples still waiting. No name list or call outs for reservations. Another couple walks and the guy goes over to the pizza maker and gets seated too. Huh.. I said something about it and the pizza maker said they had a reservation. I’m calling bs.. I finally got seated and then called to make a reservation to confirm the bs. Girl answered and I asked if I could make a reservation. She replied that they have a line at the door and they weren’t taking reservations.. You...

My bf and I kinda stumbled upon this place after driving a friend home one day. We were surprised by how out of control busy it was in the take out area. This place has been swamped every time I've been there, but for for good reason...the pizza is delicious! The first time we stopped for a couple slices we were pleasantly surprised with how tasty it was. The slices are also huge. We are boring when it comes to pizza and usually just order plain pizza. Sal's plain old cheese pizza stands out it's soooo good. It's always fresh and hot! The last time we stopped, this week actually we got a pie and couldn't help but both have a slice in the car before driving home. We couldn't make it all the way home smelling it, would have drove us mad. So we def. Broke the no pizza in the car rule.

So yeah if your ever out that way, it's definitely worth stopping in for a slice or to sit and have some real food. Don't let the mass traffic and cars deter you, it's that good. I guess if your looking for a pie to go or something it would be best to call and order it ahead of time, standing room is scarce in there take out area. Usually gets down to standing room and even then it's a little tight. But if you forget to call or just show up, line or not it's totally...
