McDonald's — Restaurant in Butler Township

I brought my 3-Year-Old daughter and 9-year-old son to McDonald's.. I don't know what to say. It's really just not a joyful, fun environment that I grew up on. Don't get me wrong. The restaurant was clean. The staff was as friendly as McDonald's staff can be professional, courteous. We dined in and the environment was hectic. My kids had nothing to do other than dad dad dad Phone, phone, phone, phone. A huge reality check from the memories of when I was there age going to the exact same brand and just having so much fun seeing my dad smiling knowing that we were happy and as an adult myself now, recognizing that he also got a break knowing that we were fed and now running off our newly obtained energy from at the time the delicious McDonald's we just devoured playing in a place that was clean, safe and entertaining. A McDonald's franchise in Western PA that is unsurprisingly not much different from the other McDonald's in the area. You generally know what to expect if you frequent the chain.

Sometimes they use the hot coffee in the iced coffee instead of having me wait to brew a new batch of the proper substance. Sometimes you get handed someone else's order and have to run back in to sort it out. Sometimes they put a pickle on your sandwich when you requested otherwise.

A McDonald's is a small slice of comfort in my life broken up only by the minor inconvenience associated with a restaurant staffed mostly by inexperienced teenagers on a Saturday morning. Nothing has ever been bad enough to make me stop going, and nothing will ever satisfy my craving for processed salt paddies and iced coffee that is 90% sugar and cream the way McDonald's can.

Use to work here back In 2017 lot of memories keep using it to this day. Recently I had an order so horrible I had to go in the store remind them I ordered a soda. They tell me soda was out and still tried to charge me. Got a substitute and still got a different soda. Came home realized half my order was missing out. Called the store this time and explained it without any word they put me on hold for 2 minutes. Afterward that I can come out back and get a….COMPT MEAL (not free after I bought the item.) Dude was so belligerent over the phone I cussed the dude out. They messed up a total of 3 things and absolutely did Not work to fix the issue the comped meal would have been nice but they tried to make me pay for a drink that was not their and I had to get out of my car walk into the store and do it myself.
