So here is why I rate AJ's as a 1 star place of business. My wife and I have spent plenty of money ordering in the past from AJ's and my review is not about the food. It is about the service. Normally we have had somewhat of a pleasant experience but then there was today. So we were being helped by a girl named Angela who according to her manager Dan is a 19 year old girl. Don't know why that mattered but ok. Anyway we have a phone that we know has in the past been told our volume is low. So I go through my order which totaled around 55 dollars. I inform Angela that I will be paying with a credit card. I proceed to give her the numbers. She tells me it is invalid. I then say no problem let me read it again and then proceed to speak louder so she can hear me which I believe is the problem. I get through giving her the numbers at which she tells me "sir, you don't need to give me an attitude." So that is my issue. I was nothing but polite speaking up because I wanted her to make sure she had my cc numbers was told that I was giving her attitude. I explained to her I was only speaking up because I did not think she got the numbers because of the phone. She explained to me that she felt I was giving her attitude. No "Oh ok I am sorry I did not realize that" That would have been better. To continue....
I then asked to speak with her manager. Dan is his name. Dan, apologizes, says he will reprimand her but then says sir she is a 19 year old girl. Ok, So Dan because she is 19 am I supposed to give her slack because she is 19 and is allowed to give a customer attitude.
So folks believe me coming from a person that works in an industry that is customer service related do not order from this establishment. Or at least until management gets older representatives to answer the phone because obviously if you are 19 or younger it is ok to give your...
Read moreIt’s really a hit or miss with this place. I used to LOVE this place when I was in high school. But ever since they changed owners………. The food quality and the workers at the counters/answering phones ……. All just went downhill.
I don’t want to dwell too much on the workers because it’s also a hit or miss. Sometimes you get a polite person and most of the time you get someone with the typical jersey attitude that gets audibly annoyed if you take more than thirty seconds to order…..
Pizza is alright the last time I ordered it. Their Sandwiches are amazing. But the salad……… kinda of gross. They left it on top of their oven and it got all soggy and warm. The croutons were mush etc. and it wasn’t warm and soggy because of the time, we picked up the food pretty quickly. It wasn’t a busy day. And when we came in the salad was literally on the oven !
I took a few bite and shared with somebody but I couldnt really eat it. I also told them to put the sauce on the side but I guess they maybe misheard me. I miss how they used to make the salad when they would at least put effort to make it look good. Now they just toss it all in and throw it together. Or maybe they just didn’t wanna make another one. Who knows. I don’t hate it there but I definitely DONT love it there. I defientely wont be ordering again…………
Because guess what else??? I told them I wanted barbecue wings and they gave us chicken bites completely drenched and SOAKED in sauce!!
Never again! Go to ferati’s instead. It’s not too far from Aj’s and it’s better quality ( not the best quality but still...

I understand AJ's sold his business to a new owner and the poor quality and service shows it.
I learned the new owner changed the ingredients in their food which has resulted in a dramatic drop in quality and now the food from time to time is bothering my stomach. I never had this problem under the previous onwer of the business.
Furthermore, I understand from a friend who has a friend who used to work there that much of the good help left due to this new owner. This explains the poor quality in service that I have noticed.
Plus to make matters worse the delivery drivers are routinely given the wrong address which creates unnecessary delays for both the driver and customer.
As a result of all this I have come to the sad decision that I will never use AJ's Pizza ever again and I will tell all my friends to avoid them...
