I ordered a 10" birthday cake with a fudge glaze on the outside as I always do each year for 2 separate birthdays (11 years now). The woman who took my order over the phone repeated the order back exactly how I wanted it. My husband picked up the cake, otherwise I would have brought it to their attention while I was at the store. I called and asked them to tell me what was actually ordered and the woman who sounded just like the woman who took the order said the cake was ordered with the white whipped coating on the outside which was definitely not what I ordered and not what the woman repeated back to me the day I ordered it. Ok so no big deal it's still going to taste like every other ice cream cake I've ordered but it was still disappointing not to get what was ordered. The writing on the cake looked as if a child wrote on it, not centered and crooked. Again none of this will change the taste of it, but when we ate it, the ice cream consistency was more like ice milk and tasted watery, very crystalized and not creamy like in the past and tasted as if it wasn't freshly made but what's the most discouraging part is the fact that the cake cost $41 and when I brought it to their attention it didn't seem to matter to them. I was told the owner would reach out to me, which did not happen, just like a few years back when we ordered a cake with fudge and crunchies in the middle, the cake literally only had that on one half of the cake and I emailed them photos and didn't get a response then either. I kept ordering because they are a local business (shame on me) and I support and encourage all local businesses but to be completely dismissed with no communication or attempt to try and make it right is absolutely insulting and bad business practice. I will drive out of my way next month and purchase a cake from another ice cream store that cares about customer...
Read moreAll the Dairy Queens near me just serve ice cream so when I was near one that had burgers I was curious to try it out. The last time I had actual food from a Dairy Queen was over twenty years ago and I remembered it being good. I may have been impaired at the time though. I ordered the A1 steakhouse burger, onion rings and cheese curds. The place was empty so I got my food fast. The onion rings and cheese curds were ok. The cheese curds are just mozzarella sticks but in tiny pieces so they are messier to dip in the sauce and eat. The burger was awful. The meat was overcooked and dry and there wasn't enough sauce on it. It was also put together sloppily. When I unwrapped it the burger patties were barely on the bun and the cheese was all stuck to the paper. It's not like they had to rush to put it together because there was only one other customer in the place. Definitely not worth it for the money...
Read moreDull lighting, teenaged staff that give a morbid attitude. I had ordered the rotisserie chicken salad and to my expense I was highly disappointed with the presentation and the dry sandpaper texture of the chicken. If you ever wondered what it was like to eat a dirty old dry sponge, order the rotisserie chicken bites. I had a orange dreamsicile dip cone with the dip tasting nothing like orange, but more of like the comet all purpose cleaning powder. The atmosphere is disgusting, metaphorically and physically. As a hispanic customer with two children, we were treated as a nuisance rather than a liable customer which feels incredibly discriminatory. Will not be returning. If I could rate this place 0...
