That's It The Coup, (The Coop) — Restaurant in Butler

Best friend is in a rehab, learning to walk again, after a spinal injury. Today is his Birthday, and as he has been stuck in the facility for 9 months, alone, I called The Coop! I spoke with Carla, and explained the situation. I needed to get food to my budby, and no one else would/could do it ... Carla quickly agreed, went out of the way to prepare a special "off the menu" lunch for my friend. Not only did she say she would, but after sending me some pictures, and handing off the phone to to Sarah for payments, I got a call from my friend THANKING ME FOR THE LUNCH.... I know they are off site, so the only other thing is that Captain Kirk must have teleported her with his transporting machine... Anyway, this is the kind of business you NEED TO SUPPORT!! GO HERE. EAT HERE. LOVE THEM BACK FOR ME... IM 700 MILES AWAY... PLEASE, BE PATIENT. PLEASE, BE KIND. THIS IS A SMALL COUNTRY PLACE, MOM N' POP RESTAURANT... GIVE THEM TIME TO SERVE YOU, AND LOVE YOU, LIKE THEY DID MY BEST FRIEND.

MAYBE CARLA WILL ADD THE "Artie lunch special" to the menu, he sure LOVED IT !!

Okay, when we got there he drove by it, BUT to be honest he thought it was gonna be a little bigger. I told him it's got a sign that said additional parking was next door so that was great, but we turned around and someone was leaving, and we got a spot right next to the building. When you come in it's set up like you would be chillin with your whole family. It smelled like.. home! I could see the two ladies were hustling so we waited for a moment and when we spoke to one lady she has said we could sit wherever. My boyfriend and I looked at the menu from where we were sitting and they had a lot... Like Chinese food.. Italian food! And so much more.

I ordered the mess and my boyfriend got an omelet. Both were amazing and we shared pancakes. Oh my gosh. Amazing!!

Their hospitality is off the charts. They're kind. They were willing to tell me what they put in their omelette and all the meat.

I have to apologize I didn't have pictures of breakfast, but their menu is fantastic and large. I can't wait to come back. The ladies were hands down the best! Try their breakfast out!...

Ummmm...initial thought upon arriving here was "What have I gotten us into?.?.?." Glad we still went in. The "down home" service was better than anywhere I've been since COVID. The food I swear was 100% made from scratch. I didn't see ANYTHING that looked pre manufactured AT ALL. Smoked meatloaf...PHENOMENAL...fried chicken strips...all hand breaded and fried...FREAKING AMAZING...every single side from mashed potatoes to Mac and cheese to potato casserole was beyond better than anywhere else! They even butted your roll for you. If we ever come through again we will for sure stop by here first. This place definitely deserves my 5...
