Subway — Restaurant in Butler

Went to the Subway in Butler Mo on Tuesday 9/13 . I hadn't been there for a long time. Wasn't too sure about their new practice of making my sub their way. I prefer my subs made my way. I got a sub called the Mexicali. I was allowed to make a couple of changes. I swapped lettuce for spinach and added green peppers and extra onions. I have to say my sub was quite good. I would not be able to say that had I not been able to make the changes I made. I still prefer the way subway used to work but worked out well for my first time back in over a year. The new menu makes you feel pretty restricted in choices though. What I would have normally gotten there wasn't even an option for that I saw. I absolutely loved the food and atmosphere at this location. You're employee Joe was very friendly and super helpful and did an amazing job helping me and my son chose something we would both enjoy. As we were sitting in the dining area enjoying our meal we seen a bus load of people come in and order food and he handled each and every order with a friendly/professional attitude and didn't get overwhelmed and handled it all by himself! Overall I feel like your employee Joe is the main reason I would give the restaurant a 5 star rating! This man deserves recognition...

I would definitely not recommend this particular Subway. The veggies are almost gross. The spinach had pieces left in it that were so wilted they were slimy. The cucumbers we're yellow and slimy, the tomatoes had been either frozen or just left in the container until they were almost mush. The Dr. Pepper needed to be refilled and the shop had 4 people in line and four seated and out of the 3 people working up front, none of them could make time to go change out the Dr Pepper syrup???
