I'm late posting this, but it is well deserved!
This review is meant to highlight two outstanding, kind, and thoughtful employees. Their names are *Joshua Jackson (General Manager) and *Matthew Lane (Service Associate).
Joshua and Matthew - You two went above and beyond the call of duty to help me (a stranger) when I needed help the most. I will always be grateful for your acts of kindness and a loyal supporter of Chik-Fil-A in Byram, MS. I pray that your hearts continue to remain open to others. Thank you so much for all you've done.
Just over two weeks ago and only a week after my father's funeral, I was going through the drive-thru line at Chik - Fil - A in Byram, MS, when my car stalled. Within a second after completing my order at the speaker and before I could drive forward, my car stopped, and I couldn't get it to start! Needless to say, but I was not in the best of spirits that day. I had my dog with me, and of course, I hadn't bothered to grab his leash. Also, it was at least 100° outside. Ha! Well, after I sat there for about 10 minutes trying to contact Triple-A to request a tow truck, two young men walked through the line and asked me if everything was okay and if I didn't mind shifting my car into neutral gear. Then, they began to push my car through the drive-thru line as the other customers moved ahead and received their orders.
When we got close enough to the window, not only did the guys stop to check on me and my dog, they also offered water and gave me my order for free! Initially, I profusely declined the gesture, but they insisted, so I accepted the meal. Finally, once they pushed my car out of the line and into a parking spot, I just knew that I'd be stuck outside with my dog to wait on the tow truck, but no! The guys kindly opened the door to the restaurant and offered me seating (w/my dog) until the two truck arrived. Although we only waited there for around 20 minutes, being allowed inside the restaurant with my dog, a free lunch, and cool air was more than an act of kindness!
I recommend this location to everyone seeking excellent customer service and a good meal.
Again, I appreciate you all and will be back...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is our home Chick-fil-A, and they’ve been such a huge part of our family’s journey lately. Our son Asher has Down syndrome and was recently diagnosed with celiac. That diagnosis flipped our world upside down. Going from “all the gluten” to gluten-free overnight isn’t easy. Eating out is especially hard because you never really know if your food is safe until it’s too late, and with celiac, even tiny cross-contamination can cause damage. (Asher doesn’t always show obvious symptoms, which makes it even trickier.)
Chick-fil-A was actually our first “eat out” meal after going gluten-free. We’ve missed so many foods, so having a place we can trust means a lot. Fries are Asher’s favorite, and finding safe, tasty options with some real nutrition behind them is always a challenge.
I especially want to shout out the manager, Darren who personally caught a mistake in our drive-thru order. We had asked for grilled nuggets, but breaded ones were about to be made instead. He literally came outside to double check with us. That moment mattered more than he probably realized. If Asher had been given the breaded nuggets, it wouldn’t have just ruined a meal, it would’ve set back his gut healing and honestly felt like a relapse for someone fighting an “addiction” (no shade at all to addicts, but that’s how it feels when gluten sneaks back in).
Because of that attention and care, Asher got his meal safely, and we got to keep moving forward. He’s handled this transition so bravely, and having places like this Chick-fil-A makes the hard days lighter. Thank you for treating our family like more than just another car...
Read moreyesterday morning was the most horrible customer service i’ve gotten there. they were all so rude. and my meal was horrible i came on my lunch break to get breakfast so i was already on a schedule, i ordered the chic minis meal with a frosted coffee and got old hash browns with nothing but grease in the container and my frosted coffee was nothing but milk. i saw them make it the correct way but after telling them they had my drink wrong and making me pay the difference the drive thru worker girl made me go park just so they could bring my drink out which leads me to believe they did something to it. idk what their names were but whoever worked morning shift on Friday November 13th between 9:30-10:30 needs to be FIRED! All of them were rude and purposely messed my meal up. I had to be back for work as well and they had me late. It was plenty of other unhappy customers as well waiting for their meal, i waited my whole lunch break which was an hour...
