I ordered the food online. It was pretty simple and easy to navigate. The one surprising thing about this method was that after you put in the order (and the tip), you’ll discover that they charge a $1.50 “Convenience fee”. As of this writing, they are taking Covid seriously. They are only doing take-out, or delivery, even though they could do indoor dining. In fact, when picking up the take-out order, you will not even enter the establishment. There is a big Plexiglas barrier in the doorway that separates you from the workers inside. You communicate with an intercom system, and get your order from a drop box. This is a family run business, which means everyone in the family works here. Such an arrangement is not that unusual among Chinese restaurants. It was a little unsettling though to have a boy taking orders and dispensing food. The food was good, but it was surprising how much food they stuffed in those plastic bowls. I could not finish my meal in one sitting because they stuffed it with so much food. The egg rolls are HUGE! In all, a good place to try when you are looking for some local Chinese food. ♿ Accessibility Features: Ramp access = Yes Wheelchair-accessible Entrance = Yes Wheelchair-accessible Seating = No Wheelchair-accessible Parking = Yes

I was not impressed with this Chinese restaurant. The food was ok, but nothing crazy good. I recently moved to Byron Center from Grand Rapids and thought I’d try this place since it is right down the road. First, the person on the phone was dismissive and a little rude. I was put off by it, but gave them the benefit of the doubt because sometimes, when things get busy, I understand the frustration and lack of focus on tone-of-voice. I ordered chicken pad thai with mild spice, and a pint of hot and sour soup. I arrived to pick up my order, which was very quick and efficient. A little boy performed the transaction without any problems. When I got home to eat, the “pad thai” that I ordered was more of a drunken noodle with chicken and random vegetables, definitely not pad thai and did not taste like it at all. Granted, this is a Chinese restaurant and not a Thai restaurant, so I expected as much. Just thought I’d try it. The food was good, I especially liked the hot and sour soup. It had more of a vinegary taste than other restaurants, which I love. But, for over almost $20 I would expect a little better. I will be trying other actual Chinese dishes here in the future, but this first experience was a little dull. It’s good if you’re hungry!

Burnt chicken teriyaki sticks. Whatever teriyaki flavor it once had was replaced by the flavor of carbon. They were super thin as well, so consistency was similar to jerky. Seseme chicken was pretty good though.

Do NOT go here!!!! I wish I could leave a review of "0 stars" because that is what this business deserves!! I ordered food for my partner and I the other day, and we live a little bit farther away than most places will deliver to. That said, I called, gave them my address, and asked if they would deliver that distance. I insisted that they plug my address into their GPS or whatever they use, to determine the feasibility of my request. So they did that, and the person who answered the phone assured me that they would deliver as long as I spent at least $30.00.

I thought that was a reasonable request, given the distance between their restaurant and my home, and so I went ahead and placed an order and was told the food would arrive in an hour. After an hour and a half passed, I received a phone call from the restaurant, whereby I was asked in 15 + different ways how to get to my house. Every time I tried to explain, the person cut me off and asked again. Eventually, they hung up on me, and when i called back, they didn't answer. Another half hour went by. They called me again, and all I could hear on the other end of the line was continuous yelling among people, at each other, for a good 3 minutes. I asked when they would be at our house, and the person on the phone told me to, "Hang on." Again, I was on hold listening to people scream at one another for another few minutes. I hung up and was very upset by all of this. Not only were we not receiving our food, but this terrible lack of professionalism, when on the phone with a customer who just paid over $50.00 worth of food, was appalling.

Eventually, we received another phone call, and at this point we have been waiting for over 2 hours for our food. The person said they cannot deliver to us. Following that, was another 3-4 minutes of continuous screaming over the phone. I asked for a refund, and the person could not stop yelling long enough to get my card number the first time. I had to repeat my card number to her four times, and I have still not been reimbursed for the money I spent on food we never received. This was shameful behavior on their part, and I will not do business with them again. I highly encourage you all to NOT...

I like their food, but man, their service is horrible. 6:30pm. Tonight its snowing and I didn't want to drive in it. So I ordered my food online. At 7:10 door dash delivered the wrong order, but when I call them, they say keep the food and come get yours. China Kitchen makes me drive to get mine. When I arrive, I see a 13 year old boy ....13! manning the window (he also answers the phone). I wait for several minutes and they hand me half of my order. They said that the other person had ordered my portion of it. I never looked to see what they had ordered so I took the food on that word. I get home and find that they did not order what I did. So I call, the boy answers, I asked for a refund because of my troubles. The adults argue and yell in their language in the background for several minutes before the boy says, "so, can you bring us the other persons food and we will refund you". I said "no, I am not going out in the weather again and I didn't get the food I ordered, I want a refund please" they argue more and the 13 year old boy says, "so, we will come pick up the food to throw away and then refund you". I said, "I can throw the food away, please give me the refund". The boy proceeds to say that he will have his brother call me to sort it out. Its now 8pm. This kid should not be working. I remember seeing him there last year working the door when covid shutdown the dine-in. He would...
