Byron Center Meats — Local services in Byron Township

So we used to be regular customers at Byron center me once upon a time our family enjoyed going and buying the oh goodness I don't know what they're called but they're basically meat bundles that are in boxes and they're different kinds of cuts of me for one price in this box and it gave you a variety! For some silly reason after COVID (cuz everything's got to get blamed on COVID you know) The stopped selling these. Which was a real huge letdown and made me not even want to come out there and shop anymore. I'm not sure what COVID did with putting a box with different cuts of meat in one box, for instance like a pork box rapper would have brats in it and pork chops in it and just things different cuts I had to do with pork they have the same for chicken and whatnot beef etc. now they have what's called"build your own bundle" I think that's what I seen on the website and that sounds way more expensive than the other which was already expensive but you got a decent size box full of different cuts and meat so hey we would usually get a couple boxes at a time of different kinds. Kind of really wish she'd bring that back I'm sure I'm not the only customer who misses that. And now that I live in Holland versus Wyoming I got a little bit more of a drive to come so I wanted to be...

We just left with our half cow and we were impressed walking in. Staff was friendly UNTIL a lady rang us up and threw a huge fit when simply asked to split the payment in half 50/50 (two people splitting a cow). It took her less than two seconds to select the “split payment” option but she slammed her stapler down and started aggressively moving things around. When we asked if it was a big deal to do, she just said ”no.” If we would have known it was going ruin her whole day and make us really uncomfortable, we wouldn’t have even asked. I'm new to beef farming so I had tons of questions for Byron Center Meats. They were so patient and answered every last one of my questions over the plethora of phone calls I made. They even encouraged me to ask more. Every single time I spoke to an employee, they were courteous, kind, and patient.

The beef came out amazing and every one of my customers is raving over it. I know that has a lot to do with the superior job Byron Center Meats did. Their ground beef packages are better than those EZ-Pak bags. The labeling and boxing was fantastic. All of my customers were completely satisfied....
